Fenton on a statement by the Traditional Britain Group re: Sunak.

https://zelo-street.blogspot.com/2022/0 ... crisy.html

Then comes the flat-out racism. “The TBG also note with the usual disgust, the state of the fake Conservative Party and this latest proposal to potentially install an alien-origin Minister as the Prime Minister of the UK, with questionable citizenship, taxation and loyalty questions”. Er, hello?
But here a problem enters: talk of alien origin individuals and people who are “European / Caucasians” lets out the head man of the TBG. Because Gregory “Lauder” Frost is of alien origin. And that origin certainly isn’t European.

The TBG’s leading light affects a posh accent, but no amount of trying can totally erase the residual hint of Strine: Gregory “Lauder” Frost likes to claim a link with Scots entertainer Harry Lauder, and suggest he was born in London’s Mayfair, but he was actually born plain Gregory Frost, in a Salvation Army maternity hospital in Newcastle - as in Newcastle, New South Wales.

Sue Reid both-sides the Knowsley demonstration.
One of their friends, a fellow Iranian in his 40s who begged me not to identity him for fear it would mean the end of his free Home Office housing, went further.
Just fuck yourself.
Nearby, in a quieter corner of this fiercely Labour stronghold, is the four-star Suites Hotel. Until the property was requisitioned by the Home Office last year to house 200 male migrants, it was a popular wedding venue with pricey overnight spa stays.

Ten days ago, outside this hotel, an ugly protest took place lasting long into the night.

It started a little after 6pm on the Friday, with a crowd gathering outside the Suites Hotel as ordinary local people expressed the view that the recent influx of foreign young men poses a danger to their children.
Bold bits are my emphases. Both are examples of the general nudge wink cuntery running all the way through the article.

I’m not one to indulge in schadenfreude (honest I’m not), but here’s some rather pleasing news. These two dim-witted nasty racists deserve every ounce of bad fortune that comes their way.

Austria was never made to face up to its role in events of the mid twentieth century.

Two people have been charged in Austria for allegedly playing speeches by Adolf Hitler via the loudspeaker system of a train running from Bregenz to Vienna.

The two suspects, who were not identified, also allegedly blasted “Heil Hitler” via the train’s intercom several times on Sunday. The authorities tracked them down by analysing video from the train cameras. Spreading Nazi propaganda is a criminal offence in Austria.

Passengers took notice of unusually loud messages being played over the high-speed Railjet train’s intercom shortly before its stop at St Pölten. Instead of announcing the next stop, the system initially played a series of bloopers by the actor usually voicing the train’s announcements, as well as a fire alarm message.

Over a period lasting about 20 minutes, snippets from Hitler’s speeches were then played, as well as several shouts of “Sieg Heil” and “Heil Hitler”.

One of the passengers on the train at the time was Schlomo Hofmeister, the community rabbi of Vienna. In a tweet, he said he was disturbed by the fact that some other passengers laughed when they heard the words “Sieg Heil”, and that the train staff seemed to ignore the goings-on.

The two are also suspected of being responsible for two other incidents last week on trains running from St Pölten to Vienna, in which recordings were played over the train intercom. It was not clear if those recordings also had a Nazi connotation...

Some passengers thought it was funny. Train staff couldn't have cared less. I'm reminded of that report in the BBC "news" channel some years back when they were in Vienna, doing vox pops about anti-Semitism. Most people they talked to were non-committal, while one woman openly stated that she felt physically sick whenever she saw a Jew. Austrians need to have their noses rubbed in it like the Germans had
