Kemi's Tories are doing the old "it's not far right to campaign against rape gangs" and a new one- "not far right to talk shit about two tier policing, because it's free speech".
Dan Jarvis cleverly turned this against them- shouldn't they be getting behind the Police?

Few things down the ages have been as ludicrous as the Tories' attempts to be what they probably still call 'with it'. She wasn't born until ten years after they split; she could easily have said they were before her time and asked Macca to educate her. But that would take humility and nous, two of the many things she lacks.
You can't go asking questions, or not knowing when:
a) You know everything.
b) You're always right.
One of Kemi's weaknesses is that many of us recognise those "qualities".
Often from a difficult spinster aunt, whose arrival guaranteed misery.

Ha ha ha ha.
Kemi's Tories are so extreme on Brexit they've been called out by Lord Frosty and Daniel Hannan, Both have pointed out that the PEM isn't the end of Brexit. Frosty said he considered joining it in office.
What a shower. Kemi and (in this case) Priti Patel not even pretending to do the homework. Just "what would Farage say, say that".

Kemi went with "lawyer not a leader again.
Sir Keir hit back with “She’s not a lawyer, she’s not a leader, if she keeps going like this, she’s going to be the next lettuce”.

If the gag doesn't land, it's not the audience's fault for not getting it.

Kemi had preceded that with "under the new bill people will be able to start work in the morning and take the employer to a tribunal in the afternoon". What an uplifting and patriotic view of the electorate she has.

Isn't that also an admission that a lot of employers are dodgy bastards who try it on with their workers? Why else would the employees feel the need to take their bosses to a tribunal?

Because they're all chancers. We know they are because that is what we are.

She mentioned Argentina's president, which is the hallmark of someone who spends too long on social media. Unlikely that Rachel Reeves gets inflation up to 100%, I reckon, or introduce a load of Peronist price controls. Complete irrelevance, unless you see yourself as part of some international movement of Trumpists. Probably better to see yourself as leader of the British Opposition.

"Labour's family farm tax".
If you're in Opposition, you're basically a protest party too, Kemi.

Their polling is dire.
Like at least Labour have polling to comfort them even if it’s not great and the attacks on them have been furious, the main opposition party aren’t the main opposition party in several polls and no one seems to attack them bar the Mirror.

Kemi's steamed into the land use review even though it was initiated by her party in 2022 and is needed to meet the targets signed up to by the last Tory Government. One ex-Tory Minister, Rebecca Pow (who lost her seat) was reaffirming her support for it on a panel yesterday with Guy Shrubsole.
Think it's a matter of time before Kemi drops net zero altogether and goes full climate denial. That might focus a few "all parties are the same" minds.

Anyone can make a mistake, but the Leader of the Opposition (and former Business Secretary) should be on top of Companies House compliance. See if this gets as much attention as Starmer having to change some declarations of interest (in which some things were put under the wrong subheading).

I see Kemi's pal in Argentina isn't at all talking and doing shit.
Thousands of protesters took to the streets of the capital Buenos Aires and other major cities to protest President Javier Milei’s speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos in Switzerland last week.
In it he sharply criticised “sick wokeism,” social welfare, feminism, identity politics and the fight against climate change, adding that “in its most extreme versions gender ideology constitutes plain and simple child abuse.”
Milei also compared homosexuality to paedophilia, and he announced plans to remove the concept of femicide from the penal code.
Soon after assuming office, Milei's government dismantled the Ministry of Women's Affairs, leaving many victims of gender-based violence without institutional support and leaving about 500 workers unemployed.
He also cut funding for historical memory initiatives, a move that will likely delay trials for crimes against humanity committed during Argentina’s military dictatorship.
But I guess her Twitter feed likes him,

How dare you. Anyone except Kemi can make a mistake. She is on record as saying she has "never had a gaffe".

Joking is not something I usually associate with Kemi. There is a Newsnight clip on TikTok of all places -

Kemi's extremely verbose for a self titled great communicator. 'When you're explaining you're losing,' as make it snappy Ronnie Reagan once said.

It won't be long before she tells us her high scores at Diablo IV.
