You could stretch the definition of a belief to include socialism or Marxism.
Religion and belief
Religion refers to any religion, including a lack of religion. Belief refers to any religious or philosophical belief and includes a lack of belief. Generally, a belief should affect your life choices or the way you live for it to be included in the definition.

Bit of a stretch though and where do you draw the line?

Probably just before my strongly-held belief that Tories are utter vermin and should be exterminated with extreme prejudice.

Hmm, actually by that definition, I'd say it could be argued they have a case. If Marx wasn't a philosopher, what was he?

Fresh from tributes to mine closing environmentalist Thatcher, is pioneering campaigner for peace in Ireland Jeremy Corbyn telling it like it is. This is irresponsible rhetoric from a senior British politician when the GFA is looking shaky and unionists feeling fragile. Especially in an interview with a former IRA hunger striker ffs.
Jeremy Corbyn tells Derry's Gasyard Féile Brexit has made island of Ireland a 'stronger, self-looking economic entity'

In conversation with former IRA hunger striker and Sinn Féin MLA Raymond McCartney, Mr. Corbyn said: "In a way the issues of the debate over Brexit etcetera have meant that the island of Ireland as a whole has become a stronger, self-looking economic entity than it was before and I think that's quite significant and it's quite important."

Mr. Corbyn, who has been a long-term supporter of a united Ireland, said he was watching the debate around partition and the potential for reunification 'very closely indeed.' https://www.derryjournal.com/news/polit ... ty-3342959

Formed a political party to specifically stand against Labour.

That's a scab in my estimation.
