The real danger from Reform UK seems in large part to be that despite being an utter cunt of the first water, Farage seems to have developed a “Good Ol’ Nige” public persona amongst the gullible/hard of thinking members of the electorate that is virtually identical to the “Good ‘ol Boris “ persona with which Johnson succeeded in making it to number ten Downing Street.

I suppose that the comfort to be drawn is that Farage is a much more obviously massive cunt than Johnson (a debateable point, I know).

The best strategy may well be to keep on reminding the non-deluded majority of just how massive a cunt “Good ‘Ol Nige” really is. Is he developing Trumpian powers of deflection, though?

That was Johbson's legacy - They're all at it/It's just Boris being Boris.

Trumpian powers of deflection require a fertile soil. The US has a nice fecund strip of earth, between Evangelical Town and Nowheresville. Both a long, long, long way from the oceans, Washington DC, etc. Plus a seemingly astonishing capacity for credulity.

Farage has a fringe in Eastern England and a population still mercifully immersed in 'wind yer neck in you prick'. Or so I hope.

Whatever he might say, Farage's core support has only one topic.
Supporters get very cross if you suggest we already had Reform government under Liz Truss (best budget since Lawson, according to Nigel) and Boris.
The main differences they come up with is of course too much immigration in first place followed by opposing Johnson's measures to mitigate the climate change 'hoax.'
The rest is mainly pointing at stuff and shouting woke.
Not up to speed with Farage's alleged popularity among young men who are marginalised by woke feminists or something.

What passes for a Bro in the UK?
* Rugger Buggers (Already Tory)
* Hatchback Wankers (Likely non voters).
* Gym bunnies and MMA bellends.

Can anybody else suggets another demographic.

He's called for nationalization of Thames Water. There's no way he believes this is the right thing to do. But then again, Starmer doesn't believe that the Tories ran an experiment in open borders, so I suppose you can't blame him. In terms of Thames Water's financial position, it's an odd thing to do, because they have (court willing) got hold of some investment that would seem to at the very least stave off imminent collapse. What's he probably thinking of is that Ofwat have to agree bill rises. These are going to be unpopular so he's there ready with the ready solution.

I don't worry about those.
They certainly exist, but not in the numbers they project on social media.

My impression is that the conspiracists are the clown car passengers.
