In fairness, it doesn't look like he has troubled the fruit bowl in many a year. 1:99 will be closer to the mark.

Half of Northern Ireland’s cross-border firms enjoying expansion

The majority of Northern Ireland’s cross-border businesses are growing or enjoying stability, a new survey has revealed.

InterTradeIreland’s latest quarterly business monitor stated 50% of NI companies are in growth mode while 24% reported stability as Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease.

It said that three quarters of all businesses are now operational, while over half of SMEs in the tourism and leisure sectors have re-opened their doors, adding that growth is starting to move on the path of pre-pandemic levels.

An up-lift in sales is visible across all sectors and size of firms. However, the standout performers are businesses that export off the island and those that trade across the border, according to InterTrade Ireland.

Intriguing to think what happens when Boris goes, because the party seemingly seems more popular and yet he probably outweighs the party in some very key areas.

Does he become a mini me Trump in which they can’t win with him, can’t win without him.

Wishful thinking for now but it’s a possibility down the line.

At the moment it looks like Sunak can take over and increase the Tory lead.
Why would Sunak increase the Tory lead?
He's gonna piss of a lot of "Classic Brexiteers".

Why would Sunak increase the Tory lead?
For starters; overturning an 80 seat majority is not going to be easy, and Sunak will appeal to both traditional Tory voters and Blue wallers, by presenting a more "grown up" approach than the current clown, which many will lap up, and; Cynic Alert; it will vindicate the "see, we're not racist" brigade
But unbeknownst to them, he's a lot cleverer than de Piffle at hiding the largesse, especially that which he'll shower on his mates in the hedge funds and investment banks, whilst bringing back austerity plus for the rest of us

One thing becoming painfully apparent is that the current cabinet all have one thing in common - they talk a good fight.

Take for example Patel - she's the equivalent of the guy in the pub banging on about how he hates immigrants and anyone different, but even his fellow racists come to despair of him ever getting off his arse and putting a brick through a window. Regardless of your stance on immigration and cross-channel arrivals, she is pitifully bad at delivering on her own metrics and targets.

Campaigning is easy, while governing is hard, they say. Therefore govern in permanent campaign mode. The problem with that is that it falls down when you actually need governorship.

People like to think that the far-right has never been a major part of British politics because of our sense of decency and tolerance. In reality it's mainly down to two reasons.. First, they've never needed to be popular - once they start gaining traction the Tories run towards them with open arms. Second, we like our racism heavily laced with hypocrisy - BLM is divisive, don't mind genuine asylum seekers/proper gypsies/moderate Muslims, can't be racist - there are two black lads in my football team. They tolerate 'them' just as long as there aren't too many and they fit in with us. Having the chance to vote for an Asian Prime Minister will be their perfect answer to any charges of discrimination.

He won. He got what he wanted.

Now he can drink his own tears.

And I will laugh at him whilst he gets kicked out by foreigners. Hope his house is unsaleable too.

AND WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS 'EXPATS'?! They're fucking immigrants.
