The current wave of arrests has got me wondering - what's the most serious charge Farage, Tice, Hopkins, Ten-Names and the Southport woman can be done for?
Farage, in my opinion, stopped short of incriminating himself. He knows how to do it and is really good at it. I think Tice did the same although even played a bit safer still. They whipped up anger and did all they could to muddy the waters but in my completely unexpert opinion they won't have broken the law. Farage did parrot the lies but with weasels words and probably did just about enough to get away with legally. In terms of public opinion though, he's getting a fucking hammering! Including from 'Robinson' supporters for throwing him under the bus. He's fucking fuming and feeling the heat, of that there's no doubt. Squirming little rat,
Hopkins, Lennon and Fox all need pulling in, though. Two of them outright pushed the made up 'Muslim name' and the fake story around it. Fox literally called for war and has enough tweets to be done for incitement. They're more demonstrably guilty than the guy that got sentenced today for online activities. They won't get done, though. As much as I am hugely impressed with Starmer/the police/courts response, they just won't quite have the balls to arrest those 3 unfortunately. Hopkins is broke as fuck and washed up, so might be easy pickings. The other two have deeper pockets and will take it all the way. And in Lennons case it'd get really messy and probably spark the riots off again. I think the police will make a tactical decision and not take it further. He has got other outstanding cases to answer to anyway!
