I think Leanne here has a removals business. Not to say that's an easy way to make a living or anything, but again, it's not obviously someone who's been rendered hopeless by decades of austerity, any more than Jason Marriner been when he was exposed by McIntyre.

They aren't fucking about. Pleaded guilty, remanded in custody anyway.

‘Two tier policing’ is today’s buzzword being shared by Tommeh, Reform and their media mouth pieces. Glad to see the long arm of the law is bothering them. A convincing argument is that this isn’t the start of something but the end of the line for the hard right that no longer have a Tory government to do their bidding.
If these are the top foot soldiers getting nicked this week, what the fuck are the reserve team like?

Even if they were, shouldn’t they be getting on their bikes and looking for work instead of rioting, like Norman Tebbit’s dad?

The two tier policing nonsense really doesn't stand up to scrutiny. The argument seems to be that the police went easier on the pro-Palestine rallies than they did on Tommy Robinson's various rallies. But the fact is that the Pro-Palestine rallies were mainly peaceful because the protestors were sober whereas many people attending Tommy Robinson's rallies were pissed up and behaving in a aggressive manor so of course the rallies will be policed differently.

They’ve been raising the Black Lives Matter stuff, even Patel has spoken up against this argument, nice for the mostly male white media to finally acknowledge two tier policing.

Frankly smashing up libraries, community hubs, universities and trying to burn a hotel full off refugees I would hope the police show the full force of the law.

This is not a women’s Virgil or a spontaneous event about black lives, this is wanton thuggery and violence that’s crossed in some sections to looting.

Yet again local reporting has shown how good at it be and national media reporting how bad it can be. It’s almost like it’s not entertainment for people who live in those communities.

Why is remanding them in custody "nonsense"?
Perhaps the major factor in remand is fear of re-offending. In these cases the chances are high enough to refuse bail.

EDIT: Just seen TWA's reply.

There’s a whole bit in Naomi Klein’s latest book about the phenomenon of small, independent gym owners who found themselves not qualifying for government support during the lockdowns - such as it was - and allowing a combination of their bitterness and the nastier strains of ‘wellness’ culture to lead them into the la la land of COVID denialism

The authorities banging up people who've taken part in race riots, but Jackie isn't happy because the real issues. Several changes of policy have already happened, not mentioned by Jackie. Rwanda has been scrapped, the ECHR has been committed to, and the Government is processing asylum claims.

All governments are authoritarian in the sense this part of the left says because they don't like bombs going off or buildings being set on fire with people inside them.

I've always had my suspicions abot the wellness industry,

Any business that deals largely in small cash transactions offers a certain amount of room for shenanigans. Especially when a lot of contact with customers is one on one and relatively private.

Gyms, aside from 'roid peddling (among other things) have been linked to prostitution and people trafficking (basically as cover for brothels). Lots of murk.
