Do you think the client press will do that?
Do you think anyone other than the client press will get access?

It’ll sound like an Eric Idle Python sketch; “So you’re Boris ‘no bus’ Johnson?”

There’s a paranoid narrative about how Remoaners have another think coming if they think it’s all over with Brexit because Bozo has gone. Hadn’t thought of it like that and sounds like projection. Who’ll step up to fill Boris the Talisman’s shoes to believe in Britain? No one. ‘No comment and we need to move on,’ will be the new mantra.

Exactly why it would need to be a softball setup - one of those instances where someone assumes a local tv reporter is some stupid backwoods hick, but they turn out to be devastating.

All COVID rules were adhered to...

Conservative activists filmed dancing at a Christmas party during Covid restrictions in 2020 were invited to "jingle and mingle", according to an invitation seen by the BBC.

Thirty people were invited to the 14 December event at Conservative party headquarters.

At the time London was under Tier-2 restrictions which banned indoor socialising...

I'm currently looking at the breakdown of the vote.

Both Lea Nici and Jake Berry, for all they were being vocal about poor, poor Boris, abstained. So did Jacob Rees-Mogg.

So presumably Rees-Mogg, Lia the Liar and others abstained.

Mrs A on Rees-Mogg:

"He didn't even have the fucking spine to vote against."

Quite...

McGuire seems to have been inaccurate (again).

Not Des Swayne.
#46410
As you were, Dodgy Desmond McSwayne voted No.
#46416
Jezza abstained...

I presume it is more the case of "being successfully elected to parliament" than "if he stands again for parliament" but yes, politically he is now toast - were he to try standing again to become an MP, he'd have to gain a thumping share of the vote first time (a good bit more than all the other candidates combined) if he was to stand a good chance in the inevitable recall election that would follow which would likely follow a different dynamic from the first. So he'd have to win twice - but where could he do that?

Bye bye Alex.
