Given that the word from central office only yesterday was that they wanted to avoid any potentially embarrassing by-elections such as one in Mid-Bedfordshire, caused by Johnson's gong list, could Nad be enacting her role as the vessel of Johnson's vengeance, inflicting a deeply unwelcome by-election on Sunak ?
