Like the smarter retired boxers.
"Events prevented me making the top-class fights that I wanted....".

Instead:
* Play the media circuit - with client media in on the act.
* Trash talk potential opponents - but never in the same venue.
* Duck the big event - there'll always be an excuse.
* Hope you can duff up a YouTuber - without getting humiliated.

As readily proved by the likes of Andrew Tate, soaking sad bastards with the promises of being in the in crowd is a functionally inexhaustible business plan

Yes, the corporate sector who usually love deregulation and all that. Oh yes, they also love smart decisions.

That's the problem, Fargle. Not just that it was a bad decision, but it was a bad decision really shittily done.

Not keen on education, are they

It probably plays well with the "Chanting the two times table while drinking from the garden hose" brigade.
Do they ever wonder how it plays with ambitious "humble folks" who see education as a route out of a cycle of poverty.

Hey, Australia, you might have just won the World Test Championship, but a blazered bore in the bar is here to put you right.

When England won the Cricket World Cup, we had two of them in the team. They stood at the side for a few seconds while the shampoo was being fired out, and then everybody carried on as normal.

It's like Tebbit's test, except worse- Old Norm's problem wasn't with the ones who played their hearts out for England.
