If Steyn had broadcast his noxious views once (and then been disciplined), GBeebies could claim that he was "on a frolic of their own", which is the standard legal defence to vicarious liability. But my understanding is that Steyn has been spewing his batshit bile for months, so I fail to see how GBeebies can deny knowledge and therefore liability.

Not 100% sure if this is correct, but I read elsewhere that Steyn's show on KGBN was a co-production between the channel and Steyn's own production company. While the broadcaster has to shoulder some of the blame for multiple counts of the Ofcom code being breached, their co-producers should have to carry some of the can as well IMO in this regard.

There was a Spectator article that mentioned some Tory MPs would rather see a small Labour majority than a hung parliament. Labour would forget all about electoral reform and there is no alternative system to FPTP that works for the Tory nutters.
