I've a feeling the Democrats have peaked a bit early in the mid terms. or maybe it's just that the Republicans took longer to get their adverts out. Sadly, it seems like Ron Johnson is going to hold the Wisconsin senate seat. He'll have doubtless made the most of crime, though hard to see why it's the Democrats fault, but it's particularly effective in Wisconsin where not much seems to happen apart from murders in Milwaukee.

Mandela Barnes seems a bit of an odd choice by the Dems as their Senate candidate there, considering Wisconsin is a slightly Right-leaning state (albeit one which regularly elects Dems to office). Ron Johnson certainly doesn’t seem very popular, so there could still be hope.

It’s worrying seeing the numbers in the PA senate racing narrowing, although I still think the Dems will be okay there.

I suppose Barnes has some name recognition as Lieutenant Governor, but I agree. He's said enough that Ron Johnson will kill him on while crime is rising even if he doesn't support those positions now.

Mandela Barnes has signaled support for removing police funding and abolishing ICE – despite ad claiming otherwise

I like the look of that.

Wisconsin increasingly looks like it goes with whichever party is having a good year. Tony Evers as an incumbent would normally be prepared to win. Still, all to play for.

I think Ohio is out of range, sadly. Sherrod Brown will probably lose in 2024, Hope he goes for President.

Infowars is done.

I've absolutely no doubt that Jones will be trying to find ways to ensure that the relatives of the Sandy Hook victims will get as little as possible from him not just now but for years to come - but even with that, slap it up the fucker.

To be fair, I doubt he has just short of 1 billion dollars regardless, so clearly the families are never going to get that amount. But the point is setting it so high means that after the inevitable appeals, reductions and so on it will *still* be a huge amount and Jones is personally liable as well as clearly now a massive liability. No one will touch him, no one will employ him and no one will finance him to start over.

Hopefully one of the outcomes will see one or more of the plaintiffs end up owning all of the material & intellectual property rights to "Infowars", "Prison Planet" and all other Jones' business operations in a similar manner to what happened to Aryan Nations after they were bankrupted two decades ago.

Meanwhile on Capitol Hill, the Jan 6 select committee has voted 9-0 to subpoena Donald Tr*mp to testify before them.

As you might expect, he's not taking this news well.
