Ever get the feeling that the Mail should be printed on tinfoil?

Amateur hour continues at Tory graphic design central. Never seen Starmer as tough maverick cop who gets the job done. While Tom T is Mr Fairbrother from Hi Di Hi.
And then assemble some words from the ether under Starmer and say the opposite. Disappointing campaign from Captain Tom Sensible. He’s really the slightly silly candidate.

All I'm getting from that is he can do a tie up.

Anyway, sure I read it somewhere that we instinctively see good vs bad as a left vs right thing, probably to do with the way we read and write. If you watch films, look at paintings etc, the good guys always attack from the left. By that logic, tough no nonsense lawyer Starmer, who bends the rules but gets results, is about to bring down slimy property developer Tugendhat in a non-threatenting Sunday evening detective drama.

Yes, but generally we see left to right as good, the opposite as bad. As said, probably due to the way we're used to scanning a page. Fairly sure Scott McCloud had some comments about how it was different in Japan.

I see they’re having yet another fucking candidates’ debate right now on ITV.
I don’t think I can take much more.

And anyway, given the electorate that will decide who wins this consists of fewer than 200,000 rabid hang-em and flog-em, send-em-to-Rwanda gammon -hued nutjobs, why the buggering fuck is this clogging up national TV airtime ? What about the other 60 million of us ?

I was talking to a card-carrying Tory last night. Even as one of the people with a right to vote, he was finding the campaigning and all of the candidates painful, and would be quite happy voting None of the Above.

Admittedly, he then said he'd be okay with seeing Sir Desmond Swayne in the role, which makes me wonder if this lot aren't rabid enough for him.

We don't count.

Cheap telly, Abers; it often gets said here that politics is showbiz for ugly people.

I'm so fucking sick of this and these shitbag saloon bar politicians. Trimming their fuckawful policies to suit the aged, wizened, selfish shitbags in the Local Associations.

I hate them. With every atom of my being and every iota of my life experience. I think of Carleen, not Kemi. Who fought disadvantage at every step to become a successful, socialist entrepreneur. Sam, not Rishi, who used his intelligence and and strength of character to build a business from nothing - and Scott, who did the same... Or Daniel who just worked his arse off to get a family and a home and an honest job. And the thousands like them who populate my Facebook friends and live in my memories as being the people we want and need, not the shits who think they have the right to run our lives for their benefit.

Tomorrow's vote will essential be about where Suella Braverman's votes end up. If they all go directly to Truss she could overtake Mordaunt in the contest but if most of them go to Badenoch instead Truss could be in trouble with momentum on the side of Badenoch.

Tugenhat will definitely be eliminated but it will be interesting to see if his supporters stick with him or switch their votes tomorrow.

I'm probably wrong but I got the impression that Mordaunt's time as the unfancied outsider coming up on the rails had gone and Bad Enoch was the "It's always the latecomer that wins" candidate now.

Considering the amount of energy it takes to finally end up with 800mV p-p into 75Ω, I count this as a green 'win'.
They prefer their clients at the Mail, Express and Standard to do their talking.
Is this the calibre of candidate we are reduced to.

I through we had hit the nadir with Johnson.
