However, her sentence has been reduced, and instead of a 12-month custodial she now has community service. That means that she will no longer be subject to an automatic recall, and it is down to her whether or not she resigns and triggers a by-election. Her previous suggests that she won't, and she will continue to be yet another Corbyn ote albatross around Starmer's neck.

Vladimir Putin would welcome the break-up of the United Kingdom, Anas Sarwar has suggested.
