Wakefield: Labour gain, majority 4925. 12.69% swing. Turnout 39.46%.

Tiverton and Honiton; LD gain, majority 6,144, swing 29.93%. Turnout 52.16%.

Probably proof if proof was needed these focus groups don’t exist that have a pretence that Boris is popular.

Look at that Tiverton result that’s not normal. Viscount Palmerston had recently been a LD when they last had a LD MP in Tiverton (Hugh Fortescue in 1881, the dad of the more famous one).
