Let's ask Steven Barrett.
A lot of hoo ha aimed at Starmer for not calling out the Rwanda (and now ECHR) debacle. Unless they believe he’s woken up and become a crypto-fascist, they’re might be a good reason for it; Its mainly aimed at Starmer the do-gooder human rights lawyer who sides with bogus terrorist asylum seekers and foreign judges over democracy. If you’re betting this policy will collapse under the weight of its own ridiculousness; don’t walk into unnecessary snares.

I've seen Tweets complaining that he didn't vote against it.

There hasn't been a vote. That's kind of the point...

However, those who supported blocking the release of such information said it was wrong to endanger their safety, given it could be used by would-be attackers and harassers to target particular MPs.
How does that work? The safety issue is out in the constituencies, not in the Commons.

The Tory Party has sent out an email today to members and supporters asking them to sign a petition and make donations' to help fund our campaign against Labour's strikes.'

How on earth is this allowed under electoral law? These are not Labour's strikes and what kind of campaign is the Tory Party against the strikes other than a smear campaign?

If the Tories wanted to stop the strikes Grant Shapps should get all sides together around the negotiating table. This wouldn't require the Tory party to raise any extra donations. But so far Shapps as refused to get involved.

"Labour s strikes" are the sole property of the Tories.

Next week’s national rail strike is set to be followed by further disruption because ministers are refusing to give train companies the power to discuss pay, rail industry sources have told i.

Millions of passengers are set to face travel chaos as the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) stages three 24-hour strikes on Tuesday 21 June, Thursday 23 June and Saturday 25 June.

The first nationwide strike for thirty years follows increasing tensions between the Government and the union over its demands for higher pay and better job security.

Now, sources within the Train Operating Companies (TOCs) that run services on behalf of the Department for Transport have revealed that talks are deadlocked because they are not being allowed to properly negotiate with the RMT...

The coming rail strikes are a direct result of Shapps' own policy.
