Similarly, when he says the British turned their backs on Christianity to worship at the altar of footballers from Best to Beckham and beyond, he'll point to the reams of meticulous research presented in his own work to prove this fact.

That is most people’s default position when meeting in a professional or workplace setting. That’s why its surprising so many people are remotely impressed by Johnson acting the clown. Apart from Gareth Keenan from the Office.

He has stumbled on an interesting point that coping with refugee logistics is a piece of piss compared to staging a large festival. Requisitioning a golf course and a caravan park in Lincolnshire would meet demands created by refugees.
