If they got any dumber you'd have to water the fuckers...
Well Johnson already regularly shits on them from a great height and they don’t seem to care, so…

Johnson has, as we all remember, has a different euphemism for people like Wes, he'll be channelling Sgt Major Williams* at the despatch box.

* A homophobic character from It Ain't half Hot Mum**, M'Lud.
** A situation comedy popular in the 1970s, broadcast via the television, MLud.

Doesn't matter.

Labour gets wounded (probably fatally) as Starmer goes and once again, ANOTHER FUCKING INTERNECINE STRUGGLE for power begins. Whilst there's squabbling, Johnson calls snap GE and wins, playing on Labour disunity.

Yep, they've thought it through.

If Starmer did resign if found guilty, wouldn't Angela Raynor automatically step into the driving seat? Whether Johnson chanced a general election or not, I reckon she would make mincemeat out of him at the despatch box, or at any debates that he has the bollocks to turn up to. Johnson's buffonery doesn't wash anymore and with rising costs of everything I think Raynor will connect far more with voters who are struggling. But it's early days, so don't panic. Besides, isn't Sue Gray's report still due?

Personally I think looking at this results the Tories aren't going to call an election now secondly If Starmer resigns then Rayner will I believe become leader for the duration, so in any snap election she'll be our leader. This also depends on what Durham Police do if they decide no case to answer then case closed.

Johnson has that demographic in the bag and they wouldn’t even vote Labour if John Wayne was leader. Making cheap homophobic jibes wouldn’t win Johnson any new friends.

Will this be a result of the huge supporter rivalry and ideological divides between Rayner, Streeting and Nandy?

All comes down to timing. A quick “no case” - Starmer is OK. A dragged-out process - Johnson may chance his arm but it’s damaging headlines and distractions for free. A fine - Starmer has to resign or be seen as at Johnson’s level. Even if Rayner is temp leader no one will go for a party when they don’t know who’ll be in charge in 6 months - and you absolutely fucking know if it did happen, the left would be choking to install Corbyn 2.0 and wouldn’t be quiet about it either, which would be electoral poison.

It is very, very bad.

Corbyn 2 won't win.

Rayner could deputise and run for election herself, like Margaret Beckett did. Though it would help if the process didn't take 4 months or however long it is.

Johnson can't call another election now, after this shitfest today. What's the reason for it? 80 seat majority not big enough? I can't imagine a lot of the MPs would support it, given they'd be at risk of losing their seats.
