Ah, he noticed that Labour doesn't hate young people then, though he doesn't revisit his earlier opinion.

But the second part here is, well, dubious. The government could easily lose a lot of money taking energy over and be stuck with a load of outdated ungreen infrastructure that it nonetheless was politically difficult to shut down.

Have they apologised for giving this rancid show of a Government an 80 seat majority?

As for the polls, wasn’t Corbyn about 20pts behind when he left as leader, and I’ll say it again the only stat that really matters is that Conservatives have a 80 seat majority.

If they really want to have a go then challenge Starmer for leadership, whoever their opposition is it’s always the wrong one.

The countries becoming the sick man of Europe and all this lot want to do is bang on about some slightly odd obsession with Jews and literally oppose everything and anything, the Labour Party proposes see Jones tweeting about the 28bn green fund.

Apparently Corbyn told young Labour they had hope and a future, well sorry if this lot carry on like they do., they won’t. They’ve exactly shown today why they can’t be trusted to have roles within shadow cabinet.

They don’t want Labour to be in power…. Never have done. They hate Labour more than the Tories as for Owen Jones he’s currently got a shirtless picture for his Instagram, the guys older than me, grow up.

I’ve been patient and I did say we should offer roles to those in the Corbyn camp but now it’s The leaders way or the high way, they simply cannot be trusted. You don’t pledge what a minimum wage will be 3 years away from the election anyhow, the government will just steal it, that’s what happens when you have a 80 seat majority.

All I ever hear is Blair didn’t do this or Blair didn’t do that, well he did some things and you can pledge whatever you want but if your not serious about winning power (and McClusky said he was happy with 200 seats) then you might as well pledge everyone a fully functioning robotic house hold and a 5 hour week.

Starmer showed signs of a serious attempt at leadership so far and it was good to see Louise Ellman return to the Labour Party, these fuckwits are playing politics with peoples lives and it’s all one big game.

It makes me sick, because the alternative is the current lot, fingers crossed for this interview for a job in Ireland because frankly I don’t think I can be arsed with this anymore.

Now... haven't we heard that one before?
The Tories in the 70s, who didn't mind "doing down Britain" to stick the boot in. And it worked.
In 'the WInter fo Discontent' Callaghan was pictured in swim shorts at a G7 conference in the Carribean under the headline: 'Crisis, What crisis?' Johnson was doing battle with Kermit the Frog at the UN when this crisis hit.

I have read that McDonald was planning to argue for a minimum wage that is higher than the level promised in the manifesto, and Starmer told him to stick to the agreed rate, so this is clearly a staged resignation timed to cause a press frenzy during conference, probably co-ordinated with others such as McDonnell and Jones.

Just another example of the Corbynite Manouevres.*

I suspect this might be a clue.

Corbyn minimum was £10 from 2020. Starmer minimum £10 from this year, 2021. McDonald asked to defend the agreed policy suddenly says he couldn't argue against £15. This is not in good faith from these people.

The Starmer £10 an hour would be the highest in Europe.

Voters don’t believe Labour promises of free jelly and ice cream. The ball’s in their court to convince the public that its Johnson living in cloud cuckoo land. Hasn’t so far but the more ridiculous Johnson’s promises are, the more sober labour should become.
