Dunno what to say here...?

She says she'd "happily" take lateral flow tests to prove she's not carrying the virus ahead of big nights out, as we've all had to at gigs and festivals this summer.

But the idea of vaccine passports is "outrageous, preposterous" and "too far to the extreme".

"A vaccine should be a personal choice, and if you're restricting me from doing things, that's pushing me further away from making that decision because you're removing choice from it."

Funny enough, while I was waiting for my dinner to finish cooking I went online and requested my vaccine passport. Lefty remoaner sheeple that I am.

It *is* personal choice dear. You're choosing to exclude yourself from pubs, clubs, gigs, and dog alone knows what else. You choose not to be vaccinated, you choose not to have a fun life. Simples!

I don't go to clubs now (not that I ever did, much) but I would imagine that they still have some sort of dress code. Ignore it and you're restricting your choice.

Javid's just binned the idea for England.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58535258

Full steam ahead for herd immunity then: what bothers me about the Delta variant is that it doesn't seem to die down like previous versions, it just sits there at an uncomfortable level and then spikes from time to time.

Maybe it's time for that "tweak" the scientists assured us would be so easy to do.

I'm happier I've cancelled all my social events and steam trips for the rest of this year now.

Meanwhile, the anti-vaxxers are out in strength on the Mail website.

Javid's binned it? Great! So the vast majority who did everything properly, got vaccinated, still wear masks etc, can all bow down to the wishes of the selfish/stupid minority who think they are too important to bother about the Common Good.

Javid has outed himself as a fucknugget.

Javid was always a cunt, he's just acting true to form.

Have a read of the comments at https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... llers.html

I've fucking had enough of today already - a racket from the horns of the annual tractor parade, a damaged fence that I'm too scared to bring up with the psychopathic and aggressive neighbour I have and whilst dealing with the garden, got a full load of blackberry-coloured birdshit in my hair.

If I had sleepers...

I agree.

You get curbs on liberty in a pandemic unless you're prepared for it to run right through unchecked, which isn't the government's professed policy. Even if cases are below where some of us expected, we're still expected to self-isolate, at our own inconvenience because the government's pandered to buffoons who want to dodge the vaccine and go to nightclubs.

I await the announcement tomorrow.

Meanwhile, with cases still increasing here I have spent the last few days cancelling, postponing and/or arranging refunds on all the social events/excursions/whatever I had planned for the rest of the year and into 2022. I have serious doubts about the efficacy of a vaccine developed long before 'Delta' rocked up in a bloke with an unholy trinity of co-morbidities.

Or think they're under 'house arrest' or some similar hyperbole.

Julia Dunning-Kruger, with her degree in PPE, explains to Chris Whitty, with his BA, DSc and MSc in physiology, epidemiology and medicine, that he doesn't understand vaccines and medicine.

Yay. Go girl!
