There's a bit of dissonance here too. Almost looks like it should be "Labour will save you money".

Great news in a country where most people have no savings, you’ll have money to save under Labour

Red Wall Tory Crosses the Floor
The BBC wrote:Former Conservative MP Mark Logan has said he is backing Labour at the next general election, saying the party could "bring back optimism into British life".
In an exclusive interview with BBC News, Mr Logan, who represented Bolton North East for the Tories until Parliament dissolved on Thursday, said Labour had been on a "journey" and now offered "centrist politics".
He added that the Tory Party was now "unrecognisable" from the party he joined a decade ago.
Mr Logan won his seat with a majority of just 378 in 2019, making it one of the most marginal in the country.

Departing LBC Presenter Iain Dale, who announced this week that he is quitting the station in an attempt to stand as the Conservative party’s candidate for Tunbridge Wells, previously told listeners to his podcast that he “never liked the place” and “would happily live somewhere else”.

Fly-tippers to get points on driving licence, Tories promise

The end of the pier show continues.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cedd9l00leyo
The Conservatives have unveiled plans for fly-tippers to get points on their driving licences and evict disruptive tenants from social housing.

Repeat fly-tippers currently face up to five years in prison and an unlimited fine, but new plans could also see low-level offenders face driving penalties.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said his is the only party with "a clear plan to ensure safety, security and prosperity in your local community".

Currently only 20% of fly-tipping investigations end in fines. The Lib Dems accused the Tories of "legalising littering".

And Labour accused the conservatives of "empty words", pointing to the government's own fly-tipping statistics, external, which showed there had been more than a million fly-tipping incidents "on the Conservatives’ watch" in the last year.
No high hopes here.
It's a legal system that couldn't establish whether Neil or Christine Hamilton was driving.

Closing down waste disposal sites, cutting council budgets for non-standard waste collection...what is a white van driver from the home counties to do?

This is just "we hate chavs".

A distress signal. Their main damage limitation strategy is now moving up to 30% and there’s only one direction the votes can come from, Reform. Now they have a super gay weight fight to the death with Farage.
