Fair point. What are the bad service jobs? Answering their queries on the telephone?

How's that guy who bucked the polls and won the Uxbridge By-Election doing? "I'll get you a fish and chip shop in Uxbridge High Street" is his unlikely pitch. This is up there with Ardal O'Hanlon's Dad (a politician) being asked if he could Hawaii-5-0 back on TV.

Who is he directing this campaigning to?! Does he deliver it to some guy who runs a chippy in Hayes, and tell him off for not running one in Uxbridge?

Who is he petitioning, chippy owners to expand or are lefty wokes at the councils trying to ban fish and chips because they’re British or something?

I don't think he knows himself. Probably a mixture of wanting some voter emails, and thinking this makes him look like a proper British local.

I think I've found who he's petitioning. A chain of fish and chip shops, who already have one elsewhere in Uxbridge. "Open another in the high street, you swines".
