Zahawi refusing to publish his accounts before the conclusion of the leadership election seems to be on a par with Johnson dodging all serious TV interviews in the run up to the general election. Finding out key information about a leader after they have taken n the role of PM is too late. A number of the Tory candidates have serious questions to answer about their finances and the soon the scrutiny takes place the better.

I suggest we name his thread; when created.

Nothing could be a better epitaph to the one desperately trying to cling on than the fact that every one of those trying to take his place are falling over themselves to say something more bigoted than the one before.

Listening to a profile of Zahawi it mentions he likes the finer things in life something that will no doubt appeal to red wall voters.

Not quite sure what any of them offer other than:

A) barefaced hypocrisy about values after enabling Johnson
B) market fundamentalism
