UK drivers face massive £3,500 fines and licence points for little-known actions
https://www.gbnews.com/lifestyle/driver ... oints-laws
These "little-known actions" include stuff like sounding your horn unnecessarily, letting a learner driver take the wheel when you're unfit to drive...
EVERY ONE of these "little-known actions" has been listed as a "You must not "* in every issue of the Highway Code that has ever been published. The real story here is why do GBeebies and their retarded viewers not know this stuff?
*Form of words used to denote the rule is backed up by legislation, so breaking that rule is illegal rather than just poor practice.
What makes you think that your average GBeebies viewer keeps up to date with the Highway Code? You can guarantee the last time they read it was before their driving test. Dare I say this, but how many people on here have a copy of, or have read on the Interwebz the latest edition with the new road user hierarchy rules in it? (I hope the answer to that is "we all have").
Elsewhere I've been trying to deal with petrolheads who view speed cameras and ULEZ as "revenue schemes" - my comment of "unless you're an idiot, a speed camera is the easiest thing to avoid a fine from" was met with "we should have approach-controlled traffic lights to limit speed and no fines".
They've obviously not seen how many drivers view a red light as optional these days.
