Derby Italian takeaway starts making halal pizzas

A Derby pizzeria has opened a halal takeaway near its original premises after experiencing big demand from potential customers. Pizzeria Da Alessia, in Green Lane, is one of Derby’s top-rated pizza places and now has a sister establishment in Babington Lane catering for a wider market.
Owner Constantino Dulhaniuc, who owns and runs both city centre establishments, says it made complete sense to open the new branch due to the number of customers asking for it.
Despite having no links to the Muslim community of his own, Constantino has a certain respect and understanding for the food habits.

Given the amount of Indian restaurants round here that have become (cheap) pizza places, this shoudn't even be news.
