Amanda Abbington's a deluded loonie. Lady Gaga's responsible for the failure of a new film that's a load of woke PC nonsense. Taylor Swift's a cunt for not having the right pet cat. Fat people deserve everything they get, they knew what they were getting into, quite why the government's trying to help them is beyond me. Brits stuck in Lebanon deserve everything they get, they knew what they were getting into, quite why the government's trying to help them is beyond me.

Seriously, what a cunt. Matched by her BTL contributors, who apparently hate all women ever.

Except Thatcher.

At the start of the article she is telling Amanda Abbington to stop going after Giovanni Pernice yet at the end of the article she writes.
After 100 women claimed they were sexually abused by Mohamed al-Fayed on his premises, Harrods MD Michael Ward – who worked under al-Fayed – says he was 'not aware' of 'any criminality' and would have acted had he known. Good luck with that defence. I'm not alone in vowing I'll never again set foot in Harrods again.
I wonder how many of Al-Fayed's victims were told that they should just let it go.

Platell is like a dog with a bone.

Why women like me despair of Strictly's Amanda Abbington...

Platell read all the comments under last week's article and decided that all the Mail's readers are in full agreement with her so she has churned out a second article on the subject.
I was as surprised as the next person. Ten years ago at the height of the #MeToo movement, women would surely have rallied around anyone who claimed they were the victim of sexist bullying in the workplace so severe it caused them PTSD, as Amanda has following her time with dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

Maybe views have changed. It could be that, after learning the results of the BBC's £250,000 inquiry, which exonerated Gio of all Amanda's most serious allegations, we women realised she was playing us for suckers.
I'm not sure why she needs to mention how much the inquiry costs because it is pretty irrelevant. Without any witnesses or CTV footage this was always going to be a case of listening to accounts from Amanda and Gio and deciding who was the most credible. I suspect that in the end the inquiry held just upheld enough complaints to make it look like they had taken her claims seriously without causing too much damage to Gio's reputation. His lawyers probably threatened to sue the BBC if the serious complaints were upheld without any additional evidence.

Later in her column Platell wrote this bilge.
Emma Raducanu, 21, has hit back at rumours Porsche has 'taken back' her £125,000 911 Carrera GTS. Who would have blamed Porsche if it had ditched Emma (fortune around £10 million)? Never has there been a tennis star who achieved so little and is now worth so much.
Emma was the first British woman in over 50 years to win the US Open final.

Can't say I've detected it - outside the concerned editorial scribbler.

Is it a tarbrush issue?
Of course it is: Platell's one of those folks white Australians, who bailed when the "asian hordes" started arriving.

The Mail despises her. She comfortably makes the non-political top ten hate list for her diverse background (not a proper Brit) but also because she clearly won a major event through sheer luck. She's a good looking, successful young person traveling the world playing tennis but she's not one of us and she doesn't even seem grateful for what we've given her. From the Mail perspective, she's a perfect target and the readers hate her guts.

For a certain type of Brit, Tennis means Wimbledon, and Wimbledon is as much a social event as it is about sport.

They exist, by the way. During the summer I was staying in a hotel in Westminster, and it was full of middle aged men in blazers, tan trousers, and those fucking blue shirts. And hats. Cruiser arriviste, as Alan Partridge called it.

Anyway, while the crowds are a bit more rowdy these days, I still remember the outright shock of some work colleagues (based in Bournemouth) during the 2001 Ivanisevic/Rafter final. The one where it ran on for an extra day, and they let the mob into centre court. The mob, with their passion and cheering and no sense of decorum at all.

At that point you realise that they prefer a Henman to a Murray - polite, tries his best, secretly knows he won't win but you could take him home to your mum. Captain Scott syndrome.

Today childless spinster Amanda Platell is lecturing people on how to bring up their kids.

Sorry, but Paddy McGuinness and Christine's bizarre divorce house agreement won't be good for anyone

Platell doesn't like the fact that the parents have an arrangement in which the kids stay in the house whilst the divorce parents take it i turn to care for the kids. Given that Christine and three of the kids are on the autistic spectrum the arrangement actually seems quite a pragmatic approach. We have lots of kids at school who spend their days flitting one house to another which really does do them any favours. Many of these kids often forget their PE kits or cooking ingredients and are generally very unsettled. I'm sure most of them would rather stay put in one place rather than living nomadic existence.

Still can't get over Amanda Abbington.
Although she does not name us, she posted our pictures beside a message saying: 'These three women are making it their life's work to destroy not only my 32 -year reputation but also my mental and emotional health and my daughter's mental and emotional health. They are the lowest of the low, dreadful, scheming, lying, bitchy bullies.

'I have no idea what I did to them to make them come after me with such venom, lies and anger but, my loves, you have rattled the wrong cage. You do not frighten me and you do not intimidate me. You're all on my list and like a f****** elephant, I never, ever forget, I rarely forgive and I am stubborn, methodical and petty as f***. I feel sorry for all three of you and it baffles me why you live your lives with such anger, bitterness and frustration in your hard little hearts.'

These are really egregious accusations and I'd say defamatory, although I'm no legal expert.
Going on to describe Abbington as "a clearly successful actress" (not so long ago she was mocking her for appearing in a play and getting less than full houses every night)...
Why rage against journalists covering a story you generated, Amanda?
Because maybe you didn't "cover the story" - you raged and snarked at her because she crossed a line you didn't like. Anyway, onto other things.
Boots is using gender-neutral pronouns in its new Christmas ad. Jolly good, but am wondering how we'd make classic carols inoffensive to snowflakes? Perhaps we could start by singing O Come Let Us Adore They/Them?
Gender neutral pronouns are not meant to be used for everyone; they offer an alternative for people who prefer not to be addressed as he or she. If you see yourself as a him or a her, trans people will be generally happy to oblige.
It’s hard for actors to escape being stereotyped as a handsome assassin after playing James Bond, yet clearly Daniel Craig has managed it by appearing in a crumpled pinstriped suit to promote his role as a gay guy in the movie Queer. Just hoping for the sake of his gorgeous wife Rachel Weisz he doesn’t turn up at home looking like this, as she might be shaken – but certainly not stirred.
1. It's called acting.
2. "role as a gay guy"?

Anyway, back to the bitching. Remember the "egregious accusations" of her being "the lowest of the low, dreadful, scheming, lying, bitchy"? Here's her on Oti Mabuse:
Respect for the adorable former Strictly star Oti Mabuse leaving her one-year-old daughter at home with her husband as she enters the I'm A Celeb jungle, insisting: 'Mum has goals as well.' And plaudits as the once body-perfect pro dancer embraces her new full-breasted mum figure in all its gloriousness.
Ha ha, you're a shit mum, you fat cunt.
Staggering that worklessness among the young has hit a ten-year high with 1.2 million of those aged 16 to 24 not studying full-time or even looking for a job, and many citing their mental health problems. I blame woke parents who indulge their diddums rather than sending them out to work
Without paid jobs, there's not much you can do. Plus, you know, a few bigger issues than just work. Anyway, onto football! That Alex Scott:
She became the first female football pundit on the BBC during the men’s World Cup in 2018 and she is a bonny lass.

Yet when commenting on the men’s game, I find her both plodding and, more importantly, uninformed. Which is what you would expect from someone who, despite triumphing in the women’s game, has never played at the far quicker and more skilful level of the men.

The men’s English top flight has been a powerhouse of world football for many years but the fact is that she has had no experience of it.
You've never been an MP, Amanda, nor have you ever acted or been on Strickly. Why the fuck are you talking about those things? Anyway, Archbishops:
All jolly good and progressive, but such speculation about who should become our first woman Archbishop fails to consider the complexities of the Worldwide Anglican Church, of which the Archbishop of Canterbury is the global head. Its followers encompass conservative traditionalists all over the world, not least in Sub-Saharan African countries from Kenya to Namibia.
Hey, wait a minute! Aren't you usually demanding we don't pander to those backward thugs with their outdated views that have no place in our....oh, wait. I forgot.
Even here in Britain, 600 parishes are still refusing to accept female vicars.

At my church, when consulted over choosing a new vicar, most of the largely small-c conservative congregation stipulated a High Church, traditional Anglican pastor, with ‘no happy clappy’ and certainly no women.
Yeah, it's different for cunts, isn't it?
For people like me, a woman reading the sermon and preaching the Gospel somehow still seems odd.

To my mind, a woman Archbishop would discomfit the Worldwide Anglican Congregation of churchgoers. That is more than 85 million people, of whom the UK constitutes around a measly 685,000.

There, I’ve said it and expect plenty of opprobrium for my views.

I’m not saying the Church of England or Match Of The Day – or, indeed, any other organisation – should not have a female figurehead. I’m simply arguing that the best, most qualified person should get the job, and that progressive values should not hold sway.
NO, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE SAYING, YOU REACTIONARY TWAT!
