Load of bollocks about a report by a Welsh non-governmental organisation, sliding into a general sneer at the Welsh, and anyone who speaks a language other than English. Yes, "scribble" gets an airing.

Then some tired shit about the Archbishop of Canterbury, some very tired shit about the confected row over Alison Pearson's history of provocative shitehawkery, and finally some "It's just different!" stuff about Clarkson and farmers, and why it's totally different from showbiz luvvies getting involved in politics.

Cunt.

So I thought I'd better have a read of that. No way was I paying for the privilege, so I did a select all (Ctrl-a on windows) and pasted it into a text editor. Surely something as simple as that won't get round the Mail's state-of-the-art paywall?

Spoiler: Yes it will.

None of what he writes makes any sense at all, and is utterly unworthy of analysis here, so I won't bother. Also, his style of writing has become so much more dumbed-down since I last read him. Wish I hadn't wasted my time.

Pearson achieved fame for a book called "I Don't Know How She Does It!", about an incredibly high achieving career woman who also has marvellous kids, hunky and wonderful husband, and generally everything off her life wish list. I once had to read a bit of it and it was fucking dire.

It's not meant the the likes of you and me. It's aimed carefully at that particular slice of the British public whose lives are blighted by negativity, victimhood and the overwhelmimg feeling that undeserving, inferior people are stitching them up, ripping them of, getting something that is rightfully theirs and getting one over on them at their expense.e.g. people like my mother and father-in-law who've spent their entire lives complaining about everything from Nectar points (alleged they were getting fewer Nectar points than they should have had from Sainsbury) to Cadbury's (wrong mix of chocolates in their box of Roses) to the local council for positioning a street light too close to their garden wall to their GP because the receptionist spoke to them in a less than deferential way. ("you've got to stand up and be counted and not let these people get away with it"). Those are just a few recent examples.

You have to feel sorry for Alison Pearson getting into hot water with the fuzz for a tweet. It's not like she'd resort to such tactics if it was aimed at her.

Oh, she would

I find it hard to feel sorry for her. Especially as I once had the misfortune of dealing with her in an old temporary job I had, back when studying for a post-grad qual.

This week, several media outlets reported that action group Climate Cymru BAME had recommended canine free green spaces as part of the government’s Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan.

The claims have been amplified by the leader of the Senedd Conservatives Andrew RT Davies who shared news articles on his social media channels and appeared as a guest to talk about the issue on GB News.

Climate Cymru BAME says one line had been “cherrypicked” from a government report “out of context, misrepresented and used as clickbait to drive engagement.”

I think you mean Suzanne Moore. Pearson has always been a cunt.

I first became aware of her in the mid-noughties, complaining on the Jeremy Whine show about Batman films being too violent. Apparently her little kiddies could have been exposed to a distressingly angsty Christian Bale.

When people said that she was generally anti-"nanny state" and intervention, she went off on one about how as a very busy mother on "Planet Parent", she didn't have the time for that.

Yeah, cunt.

Turns out that playing with this stuff has real world consequences for real world people. Not that any of the cunts care about 'that sort'.
Andrew RT Davies has doubled down on comments he made about anti-racist dog free zones despite the organisation at the heart of the story telling him its members have been subject to a “barrage” of racist abuse and hate mail.

Used to be a regular on BBC2's weekly Late Review in the 90s as a moderate voice among some angry talking heads upset by a sub standard movie or piece of art. Would have had her down as a Lib Dem as a guess. Pearson still uses photos of herself from that period.

Saw her on Sleb University Challenge a few years ago. Just like every other journo/columnist arsehole contestant, argued the toss with Paxman over every wrong answer she gave.

Rachel Reeves hit piece. Apparently she wouldn't be picked by Trump for his cabinet, and this is a bad thing. Instead he'll probably pick some Jordan Belfort wannabe cunt, because that's how the American political system works. Also, she's not a dumb blonde with artificial tits.
