"Them" hate Christmas so much they're even adapting pantomime for the entertainment of their people. I daren't look in the Fail to see how this is being reported

A Muslim version of Cinderella makes history as the UK's only Muslim pantomime joining a major panto archive. Cinder’Aliyah: The Great Muslim Pantomime showcased in 2021 with an Islamic twist on the classic fairy tale.

After a successful run and return in 2022, the play joins University of Kent's David Drummond Pantomime Collection, which is country's largest pantomime archive. Cinder’Aliyah will now be part of four centuries of British pantomime history...

Apparently it's traditional to accompany a Christmas tree with some kind of sign wishing passers by a happy Christmas, and Westminster City Council has caused *FURY* by omitting this. It's tantamount to erasing Christmas and Christian culture, apparently.

Except, of course there's a fucking Christmas tree there.

In other news, of course, the terminally woke habitually get offended by stuff they've just made up...

He has been informed by "a source" that they deliberately don't put up "Merry Christmas" signs because they don't want to "offend" anybody.

Bollocks. Fucking rancid, festering septic bollocks.

Every fucking year this total wank gets spurted out. Nobody, but nobody in the whole of the UK is remotely offended at the sight of the word "Christmas". And nobody worries in the slightest that they might be.

This is race-hatred rabble-rousing, and nothing else. Attempting to manufacture grudges and grievances where none exist. Deliberately trying to foment hatred and anger. It really must be called out.

‘A well placed source’ as if that’s more credible. Austere Protestants are offended by Christmas trees and ostentatious revelry to commemorate the birth of Our Lord. Are they traitors to the Union Jack?

The Mail seems to have cooled off on its biannual stamps outrage, partly because enough people know that the stamps rotate at Christmas between religious and not. However, it got to the stage where even if the Christmas stamps were religious-themed, the Mail would get pissy about them being not religious enough. Or too modern. Or too many black faces.

Funnily enough, when the Pope wrote a thing a few years ago explaining how many of the common Christmas traditions take serious liberties with the Biblical story/stories (number of wise men, gifts, stable and manger etc), the tabloid press had a go at him for apparently spoiling Christmas. Yeah, apparently the head of the Catholic church knows less about its big midwinter blowout than Jan fucking Moir.

Mawkish sentimentality wrapped up in petty viciousness. Urgh.

Oh the humanity...

Council's change to Christmas tree collections sparks complaints

https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/new ... omplaints/

Swindon Borough Council will no longer be collecting Christmas trees for free in the New Year. Local Tory councillor invents scenarios where trees appear in homes as if by magic but then cannot be disposed off responsibly.

Pro tip - Don't go sadfacing to the paper about Christmas trees if your kids have fired the decorations onto the tree from a cannon.

“Lack of awareness and accessibility issues, such as not owning a car, have been raised by concerned citizens."
At least he didn't do the "Some elderly folk..." move.

That said, if they don't own a car, it'll be pretty easy to nab them fly-tipping.

Banning Christmas gets earlier every year*.

Parents' fury after school tries to 'ban' Christmas references from its festive pantomime so it can be 'inclusive' for children of all faiths

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... stive.html

You will be shocked, shocked I say, that the school has not banned Christmas and will have plenty of Christmas events this year.
'We have a number of families who either do not celebrate Christmas or do so in a different way. The children of these families are removed from events such as this, at the request of their parents.

'As this is not a Christmas event, but a pantomime, it can be enjoyed by everyone wit the changes we have requested.

'We are keen that ALL of our children should enjoy the pantomime and for it to be a fully inclusive event, have removed Christmas songs from the production.

'Children will continue to enjoy our usual Christmas events as we progress through the remainder of this term.'
