Did anyone seriously say terrible result for Corbyn? Or was the abiding sense that it was good Zac Goldsmith had lost?
As I live in the ward next to it I had it on good authority that the membership of the Labour Party at the time in that CLP was higher than the vote received.

Hmm

Laura Murray has to pay Rachel Riley £10,000 for libelling her on the Twitter. And it's not over yet as there's a further hearing in January.

Typical Corbynite. Take sarcastic tweet, add a load of crap from inside your own head, assert that is what is meant by the sarcastic tweet, start a campaign to get sarcastic tweeter sacked, then wonder why you've lost a libel case.

Not very bright, are they, these Corbynites.

No idea if President Obrador is a failing populist demagogue with a cavalier disregard for the rule of law. It would be unusual for Corbyn to be photographed by a leader who wasn’t.
Jez’s passion for Latin American liberationist politics is undimmed since he was a youth visiting Allende’s Chile. His economic record stank and so has most other leaders Corbyn’s supported since. But no need for reflection as Washington sabotage is all to blame.

I think the reason they elevate him to some sort of King over the Water is that they weren't interested in politics until he became leader, and therefore they think of him as some sort of internationally-acclaimed elder stateman of the left. They don't realise that he'd been a stupifyingly uninteresting backbencher for decades.

Corbyn is a ratty Che Guevara t-shirt worn by a clueless 6th-former made flesh, and plays up to it. His being in charge of the Labour party for a bit is the closest his fan club will ever come to the short-sighted socialist revolution they think would fix everything and that everyone would want if only they understood.

Latin America is his pet theory of post-colonial socialist utopia, if only those gross American capitalists hadn't invaded with their imperialist hegemony writ large.
