Do you reckon the Lib Dem's could take Tiverton? They were only 11,000 votes off the Tories until their vote collapse after the coalition. They could easily do another North Shropshire because it's another MP who's resigned in disgrace.

As for Frost and his fluffers, just another bunch of deluded Brexiters.

No source, I apologise, but I earlier saw reports that one of the major bookies has the LibDems as odds-on favourites.

Would be surprised if they aren't favourites with every bookmaker. Oddschecker doesn't yet have the by-election up yet.

First thing Parish did with his new found backbench freedom is gripe at the government on behalf of farmers. Policies that he told farmers to vote for in 2016

As per LabourList, it seems Wakefield Labour is now in the process of finalising a shortlist of candidates:

Wakefield Labour is speedily picking a candidate. Here’s what is happening.

Tiverton sounds like it's going well for Johnson.

Good ol’ Boris appears to have been found out quicker in Wakefield and Tiverton than he was in London.

In London, the good times were (comparatively) rolling, and people didn't mind him fronting the show. Whatever he wasted on garden bridges, it was harmless compared to what he's done since. Also, there was oversight of that position that he doesn't have to worry about now.

Not exactly helpful news, but I doubt the voters of Wakefield will care too much so long as a decent Labour candidate ends up being selected.
