America's first big cult/religion was the Mormons, who believed all those outside of their number were irreparably corrupt, and had a pronounced fondness for posthumously "baptising" the dead and heroic to retcon things so so the greats had been on their side all along.

It's good to see there's nothing new going on here.

(Also, Kurt Cobain wouldn't shite on that Trump cunt.)

Surprised at this, in a way. This isn't popular. I thought they'd find something that allowed for almost a complete ban (and it's already very restricted in lots of states) while leaving the headline case in place, and attracted less attention.

Not bad going for a party who have won the popular votes once in since 1988.

Who?

Are they unbiased commentators or partisan?

It's not enough just to say 'people'...

I'm seeing that as well. Absolutely infuriating.

The general consensus seems to be "This is on Obama, he fucked up when he had a Senate supermajority", even though I'm pretty sure in reality Obama never quite had the numbers to codify Roe.

I think it is safe to assume the Dem-bashers are the same people who sat out 2016 because "Hilary would be just as bad as Trump".

Yes that ignores the fact that Obama only had a supermajority for 4 months and his caucus contained plenty of pro-lifers amongst them.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of complete arseholes posing the fucker's goPro footage on social media. Stumbled on it this morning and the few seconds I saw have really done a job on me today.

I’m very much hoping, given the current deadlock of US govt. and the consequent paralysis of much of Biden’s agenda, that the Roe vs Wade leak will actually be a spectacular own goal for the GOP for the mid-terms.
