Alternatively you could tell us what you're trying to say. If your intended audience don't understand your posts, there seems very little point in you posting them at all.
Effectively they are just spam and I don't believe that's your intention.

Only if you know what the fuck it's about, it costs nothing to add a little context. As we've asked this poster to do so many times in the past...

Indeed why this is I'm not sure. There is this thread from the chair of the Wisconsin Democrats might provide some answers

If posts are not understood, they are rendered irrelevant, which means they are, by definition, spam*.

Starmer should be more worried if Trump offers the UK an opt out to his tariff plans as the price will be higher than the rewards. For eg diplomatic support for a US 'peace plan' forcing Ukraine to cede territory to Russia? I don't think so.
A couple of factors as to why a tariff hit might not be too bad; supply chains are international so the price of US manufactured goods in its internal market will also rise. And UK exports are more service orientated and Trump hasn't spoken on whether services will be elbowed out of the US market. It's still bad news for the economy.
Rachel Reeves has said she is "confident" trade flows with the United States will continue under President-elect Donald Trump despite his proposal to put up tariffs.

The chancellor was asked what implications the result of the American election will have on her plans for growth as she faced questions from the Commons Treasury Committee.

It was put to her that investment banking company Goldman Sachs has downgraded its forecast for the UK's economic growth next year from 1.6 to 1.4%, while EU officials are anticipating a reduction in exports to the US of €150bn (£125bn).

Spam might not be your intention but it is in practice when you drop niche data sets in without an explanation of why it's pertinent.

Asking as someone who didn't understand what I was looking at in the original tweet, is it really too much effort to just type out a sentence that frames the data or link that you're presenting to us?

Think the lesson of Wisconsin etc was that Harris's ground game was actually good, but not enough to overcome the national situation.

Btw a 6% swing in the US is what we call a 3% swing.

Hard to be positive, but we've seen a "reallignment' here recently that disappeared at the next election. Not impossible this does in 2026.

I would have posted exactly the same tweet. Mention to split ticketing, names of states, who they voted for in the presidential election, and another name. I don't think that was obscure.

I found it so.
There is a tendency amongst some here to assume that everyone has the same knowledge and has seen the same Tweets as them. That isn't the case, and it is why so many of us request that posts have some context. As you well know, Tubbs, I have several times asked you for clarification because I don't get a reference you have made.

The key difference was that you replied politely...

Apparently, that would save me £41.56 this afternoon on a one-way trip from Luton to Bath. The next four pages of search results confirm this.
Ha ha.

I hesitate to use the phrase "game changing" because it can be. Apparently this was true under British Rail as well, and probably will be under Great British Railways The difference is now that some of the rail ticket sites have a split ticketing search built into them.

Despite being no Henry Ford, or expert on large scale production, I've been pondering the possible effect of Trump imposing large tariffs on imports.
I'm assuming this is to "force" USA based manufacturing to source raw materials internally, and who is, on the face of it, a major user of raw materials, none other that Musk, and I'm guessing given his obsession with keeping costs down, that he doesn't pay top dollar if he can source on the cheap, so how will the pair of them square that circle?
Continuing down that line, and Trump imposes tariffs that have the desired effect, what will be the effect on the supply chain's bottom line. Is Trump basically saying the market no longer applies, and its simply one US supplier competing against many others; what costs will have to be cut in order to win the contract, what effect will it have on a companies margins, how's this going to help Trump's boast that there will so many jobs available paying the best salaries. Or will the US supply chain say. "the president says you can only buy from us, so we can charge what we like"

American companies are already bulk buying, fearing massive upswings in prices come January. This is already having an effect - recruitment cut, no Christmas bonuses (a more widespread thing there than here), expansion scaled back as companies concentrate on the core business.

What I suspect he's aiming for is a bidding war for America's generosity - please him enough and your country gets exemption. With the UK I fear that will mean the NHS, or at the least the deregulation of the pharma market.

The tech giants will be the ones who suffer - there's a reason China's charging round the third world digging up all the rare earth metals they can find, while building enough infrastructure to win over hearts and minds. Do you want your computer or phone Made in America, or affordable?

End of the day, never start a trade war with China, any more than you'd start an invasion of Russia in the winter. They have the resources, the markets, and the patience to outlast you.

This is where I think it will, as they say, get interesting. Trump’s ’coalition’ in the sense of the loose organisation of neofascists, hawks, billionaires, tech bros and libertarians have a lot of contradictory wants and needs. And they *all* have huge egos.

Just taking the 2 of them, Trump wants money, flattery and deference. Musk wants money, deregulation and adoration. If Trump really starts tanking the economy and prices for components start skyrocketing, is Musk really going to carry on sucking up? Is he going to be delighted by having his cheap workforces for Tesla deported? Or is he - the self-professed genius - really going to carry on being the sidekick to an extraordinarily stupid man who is almost certainly in a hastening state of cognitive decline?

And the others - Vance (Thiel’s puppet), RFK Jr, Miller etc all want their own things and all want Trump’s ear, or want to be in pole position to take over.

One of the most astonishing things of the first Trump administration was how many staff he went through, and how virtually all of them turned on him as soon as they were ditched.

I think once the honeymoon period is over, there could very quickly be some incredible infighting. And that infighting could be one of the things that brings it all down and stops some of their agenda ever happening.
