I remember that, just after I relocated to this town, a helluva blow came barrelling through and felled our posh, new main railway station. That was embarrassing.
February three years ago, same same. That evening, I drove up the Avus from Potsdam, watching proud oaks and ash trees going down like skittles. That was heart-breaking.
And here we are again;
Who in their right mind, however, would be riding a 50cc equivalent, electric scooter in 110 km/h cross winds which are presumably going to be gusting much higher and are then full of holes?
I am seriously considering mitigating these manifestations of climate change by chumming up the Kreuzette at the sauna, instead. I would rather go to the football, though but.

The walk from the S-Bahn to the stadium is through a wooded copse which I can hardly do anyway at the moment, and I am certainly not up for shimmying my way around flying boughs. That leaves getting a rental scooter which I can leave there while enjoying a beer or four during the game. (The walk back to the S-Bahn is somewhat easier with half a gallon on board.)
