This isn't the time to introduce domestic issues to the public debate.

But, when things have calmed down a little there's a need to push a few items to the front:

* What where "fellow travellers" like Dominic "Moscow Dom" Cummings, Aaron Banks, and Nigel Farage up to during their busman's holidays in Moscow?
* Maintain focus on the Tory party funding from pariah oligarchs, and rubbish the "British passport holders" defence.
* State clearly that turning a blind eye to dodgy money puts us in kompromat to enemies of democracy.
* Question why Cameron, May and Johnson were buzzing around oligarch circles like bees round a honeypot.
* Revisit the response of the American Republican party to this war: GOP = Goons of Putin.

I'm sure there's bit more, but the above provides a compelling story about the people who've taken our national leadership, and about those who pay the piper.

For some bizarre reason, I felt the urge to listen to Russian news in English on short-wave, just as I did as a kid.

I don't think I can now: SW seems alive with Chinese stations and relays, but Russia? I think it goes by the name of Sputnik Radio now, but trying to find a SW frequency for it... clicking on an Internet link holds zero interest for me, whereas tuning across the dial (from Moscow to Cologne) just has an appeal.

The Voice of Russia (as it was then) went off short-wave in April 2014 IIRC. Later than year it was reorganized as Sputnik media.

GB News here. Neil Oliver spends a minute telling us he doesn't know what's happening because he you can't trust what anyone says.

A nice modern twist on the "all the notices on this board are false" paradox. But if you're a news channel, isn't it your job to find out?

Buy hey. "Read more of Neil's views".

The squalid racism of Poles casting a shadow across the fate of African and Asian people at the borders, fleeing from an active war zone.

Well, colour me surprised.

There can be no mistaking that the EU should be all over this like a wet rag but there can equally be no doubt that this war is hitting home because PLU are in the firing line.
