I think UK education (and indirectly, political debate, news etc) could benefit from compulsory civics, even if other stuff gets chucked out of the curriculum. See for instance all the people on Twitter who have apparently never heard of pairing.

So here's a thread for those bad takes. An OP who thinks that APPGs are regulators, and someone who thinks that political parties can send in the Police v opponents.
