Eamon Holmes opens his heart about the terrible curse of being a white man
Eamonn Holmes has expressed his frustration about his treatment in the media landscape as a “white man in his sixties” in a new interview.

The broadcaster, who is an anchor on the GB News weekday morning programme Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel, reflected on moments of his career in an episode of the podcast How to Be 60 with Kaye Adams.

Speaking about his 2009 exit from his Radio 5 programme, the 63-year-old claimed that while his listenership ratings were “excellent”, an executive told him that the show was “attracting the wrong type of people”, and that they were pursuing a younger audience.

“You’re attracting older people, and we don’t want that,” the north Belfast presenter claims he was told during a meeting with a production boss. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-ente ... 84995.html

A talentless man who has got much to be thankful for, should shut the fuck up!

I'm the same age as Holmes. It isn't just that he's a "white" man, so much as that he's a cunt.

And he's waited fourteen years to say that?

The comments below this vid indicate GB news losing support from its core.
Tears about GB news going "Woke" and "Cancelling" their best presenter.

Of course it could be 24 hour keyboard warriors finding something else to be angry about.

Steyn displaying a Union Jack mug is a reminder that Australian hard right nationalists are even sadder and more confused than their British and American counterparts. Is their main demographic Ten Pound boomers who left Blighty after Jimi Hendrix appeared on the Lulu Show?

Massive prawns, no pooftahs, no mucking about, cheap lager, and kicking the aborigines when nobody's looking. They love it.

I'm pretty sure that Steyn is Canadian, and that the flag in the background to his left as well as on his mug is likely the Canadian Red Ensign that served as the de facto flag of Canada prior to the Maple Leaf being adopted?

A common complaint I've often heard from Aussies over the last number of years is how expensive their beer costs compared to a lot of other western countries. However there aren't a lot of things that are cheap in Australia TBH and that's somewhat down to even lowly bar staff actually getting paid livable wages - the minimum wage there is seen as pretty much seen as a "rock bottom" level that any business paying such should be seen as suspect, as opposed to what businesses can legally get away with paying workers the least on this side of the planet.

I think it's an excellent example of:
Cater to the conspiracist mob.
They'll soon create a conspiracy about you.

He claims to have been sacked for (essentially) being too old and too white for 5Live 13 years ago. When he was 50, give or take.

He must be correct, because at the moment, 5 Live has no white dudes in their fifties working at it, every day, from dawn to fucking dusk

Doesn't this fall down with the first word?

"They" are supermarkets. You'd think their interests were served by selling us as much as we want to buy. But apparently. they're playing some long game around the word "ration".

OFCOM have them given notice for spouting bollocks before, haven't they? Was the OFCOM compliancy officer they supposedly hired having a kip or something?

As someone who had both of my initial vaccinations whilst pregnant (Pfizer by default, of course), I really, really hope that someone finally sues that human sewer until the pips squeak.
