It's incredible. "Not yet all lost for Labour apparently", who are leading the polls, I think?

What the actual is the point of opinion polls at least four years before an election?

Here's a poll showing Labour ahead by 6

So far there has been one poll showing Reform ahead, just one and everyone has lost their shit.

And LD, Green and LAB combined on 50. As opposed to 52.6 in the General Election.

Have the Tories or Reform come up with a single policy since the election. They both keep criticising Labour on the economy but they are in no rush to other any alternative solutions.

I am sure there is a whiff of the Australian Bruce's about their policy meetings.
Fourth Bruce: No. Right, I just want to remind you of the faculty rules: Rule One!

Everybruce: No Pooftas!

Fourth Bruce: Rule Two, no member of the faculty is to maltreat the Abbos in any way at all -- if there's anybody watching...... Rule Three?

Everybruce: No Pooftas!!

Fourth Bruce: Rule Four, now this term, I don't want to catch anybody not drinking..... Rule Five,

Everybruce: No Pooftas!

Fourth Bruce: Rule Six, there is NO ... Rule Six!... Rule Seven,

Everybruce: No Pooftas!!

Fourth Bruce: Right, that concludes the readin' of the rules, Bruce.

They'll say whatever they think people want.

They believe in running the country into the ground and getting out.

I've seen quite a few pundits predicting how this shows Reform will become economically left-wing and how they will sweep all before them. Let's see how they respond to things like employment rights.

How many times has this happened throughout history? Charismatic right-wing leader cons workers into believing they're on the side of the little guy against a corrupt, decadent Establishment. It never ends well.

Farage did well at the last election partly because the Tories were so bloody poor and partly because the media gave them an easy ride. Farage was also very clever in only becoming leader of the party again at the very last minute which help to reduce the amount of scrutiny he received.

Will Farage really maintain his poll ratings for the next four and a half year of will the electorate finally become bored with him especially if he can't come up with some carefully costed solutions to the countries economic woes?

The man receives nearly zero scrutiny, has several newspapers and a TV station and a half blowing his trumpet.
Don't underestimate how this reaches the old duffers.

They'll get found out when they get a bunch of golf club bores and unvetted racists on to local councils. Past history tells us that they will do fuck all apart from falling out with one another.

Farage will remain Golden Bollocks but the party will soon fall apart.

I see man of people Farage rocked up at a Fox hunt today. I didn't realise that fox hunting was such a popular pastime in Clacton on Sea!

I expect the line will be that they're bad because liberal elite union leaders. Say what you like about Arthur Scargill etc he didn't waste his time on trans rights.
