Why do they do this shit? I can't seee it even works in terms of the sort of audience they're going for ("anti-woke"). Are doctors "woke"?

I hesitate to agree with you only on this specific point now because I'm not 100% confident in Vice, from where I was getting the details from. But yeah.
The upshot of this awful stuff here:

John Cleese was on the Today programme just now talking about his new Angry Old Man show on KGB News, in which he will apparently do a bit more raging against "wokery". He says he regards KGB News as a "Free Speech" channel and if he'd tried it on the BBC he'd have been "cancelled".
How very, very, desperately sad.

Old man goes on TV channel to say he's not allowed on there. If you're in your eighties you don't get TV shows, unless you're David Attenborough.

I’d watch Michael Palin vent against first world annoyances as they’d at least be real; Bad trains in the Pennines, fly tipping, rural bus routes axed. Basically the One Show.

As I've said elsewhere, it's going to be fucking hilarious when they shitcan him like Hari or Grimes for scaring their incredibly sensitive, pigshit thick, nuance free audience.

Maybe Cleese will provide not just edgy humour, but bonus Neil Oliver esque content like this.

Didn’t Cleese predict Brexit was going to be a really good idea? Like his political mentor Dr David Death. Whose career has followed a similar trajectory as Cleese’s.

The whole thing borders on an ofcom investigation, I felt this might happen once Discovery removed its funding.

They give it you straight on GB News. The real issue is the Liz Truss being bullied... by whom? The markets? Welcome to test match cricket.
As you'll see BTL, Mr Brooks had a somewhat different attitude to Theresa May.

Wootton, that Nazi toilet, is going full-Stürmer with the "globalist" bullshit tonight. I hope Shapps puts him on the next flight* out.
"Should he stay or should he go?"
*cattle trucks are also available.

Entered ‘globalist’ into Twitter top searches and up pops Wooton, Grimes, Farage, Tice and Kanye West.

Cattle Trucks can neither float nor fly.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
