Why do they do this shit? I can't seee it even works in terms of the sort of audience they're going for ("anti-woke"). Are doctors "woke"?

John Cleese was on the Today programme just now talking about his new Angry Old Man show on KGB News, in which he will apparently do a bit more raging against "wokery". He says he regards KGB News as a "Free Speech" channel and if he'd tried it on the BBC he'd have been "cancelled".

Old man goes on TV channel to say he's not allowed on there. If you're in your eighties you don't get TV shows, unless you're David Attenborough.

I’d watch Michael Palin vent against first world annoyances as they’d at least be real; Bad trains in the Pennines, fly tipping, rural bus routes axed. Basically the One Show.
