The heavyweight Corbynite speaks. Literally no engagement with what these people are like. "Blairite". And the lie that Labour aren't "taking it to the Tories" (because only the far left can do that).

Oh yeah, that "publish the Forde Report" thing,

It's independent of Labour. Starmer can't publish it.

Ex-MP here. He is not missed. Appalling.

This purile nonsense from Ian Ausin doesn't help those who believe Israel should be recognised and treated like any other state. Because that includes consequences for violating international law.

Yep.

A few of his defenders have hit on the "he's not calling all Palestinians terrorists" brainfart. But somebody like Austin ought to know about tropes. Palestinians (and Muslims in general) being reduced to terrorists is a racist trope. Just like Jews controlling the world is a racist trope. It doesn't get you off the hook because you only said Soros and the Rothschilds.

I hope we don’t hear anymore from Ashford council’s Labour leader telling it like it is. Have a feeling we will.

He’s a full on Kipper. He doesn’t in this article have anything to say about trade unionism or worker’s rights. Just the right of officials to bang on about Brexit.

Genius West Yorkshire MP, Barry Sheerman, has been cheering on a leak that HS2's Eastern leg could be cancelled. That would mean HS2 went from London to Manchester , but not to... West Yorkshire.

Jon goes for the easy "nice to see a Labour MP say this" plaudits.

I'm pleased the drivers are getting paid better and happy to pay more for my weekly shop. But I don't think "there are some problems in the EU too" is quite the killer argument that there are no shortages here.

Big players like supermarkets are much more able to do this than lots of other firms struggling for hauliers. What happens to the smaller firms who can't do the same and remain profitable? Do a load more drivers suddenly show up to work for them too?

Labour shortages in the Western world (due to a falling birth rate) is not news. That’s why some countries welcome immigrants not tell them to piss off back to where they came from. And why does old socialist Jon Trickett think supply and demand should determine wage levels?

Yeah. Sectoral bargaining would be a better thing to emphasize here.

Is this where we put Hoey these days?

I'm sure PSNI are not perfect, but this is a classic of the two step genre.

1) Person consistently spouts shit/ has mates that spout shit.
2) Complains when people at the sharp end feel the need to hire communications people.

Context. This is on the heels of a lot of Loyal Loyalists getting very out of shape that the PSNI have assessed South Armagh as "Hardly fucking Verdun" and began dismantling a lot of the more militarized presence therein. This is, of course, an affront to decency and common sense and themmuns have to be up to something and need to be watched.

Meanwhile, I've been spending a fair bit of time and money in "Bandit Country" and can only report it's an increasingly affluent area that's maybe going to be known for rugged beauty and cracking wee pubs in every hole in the hedge in the future. The crime rate is actually pretty low, too.

I would ask, but dear old Kitty has me blocked these days after I questioned her friendship with self-pitying gun-runner and dead fantasist Willie Frazer

The other end of it, of course, is that when the cops went in heavy to lift a shower o'cunts (the ones dealing drugs and being women and kids out of houses) up Carrickfergus direction it was "political, two tier policing" according to the Loyalist folk.

They've got no issues with the cops knowing when everybody in five postcodes shit last down round Camlough, though

Here's Trickett again, who can outdo even the BBC on not mentioning Brexit. How many of these people are qualified truck drivers just waiting to go, Jon?

Former and unlamented.

This is how it works, apparently. Johnson gets to attack Labour for tax rises in 2019 and lies about having a care plan. He then does nothing about it for 2 years, before leaking a load of stuff to the Telegraph (which suggests he's going to do tax rises he ruled out in 2019). And Starmer's at fault because he won't pony up something for Harris and his mates to attack while distracting from Johnson.

Jon Trickett again

This is really just another form of racism portraying Native Americans as noble savages who lived in a Utopian society.

Where's the context? Or did Trickett just tweet that for no special reason?

Without context you can't accuse Trickett of racism.
