There's much deeper rooting of Republican voters in this sort of politics than there is Tory voters. Most Tories are people who just think Labour is shit with money.
I think you are, sadly, mistaken.

Hold on, the Proper Left are in town. Starmer was in charge of Surrey Police too.

No point in Johnson apologising - it's out there now.

Johnson absolutely, positively knew what he was doing.

Meanwhile, someone on here said a few days ago that we should invent a time machine in order to go back and hack off Stanley Johnson's knob with a rusty penknife. In the spirit of equality and balance, could we also do the same to David Corbyn, please?

On the bright side, SKS looked less than bothered. Lammy looked like he would cheerfully step in if needs be.

On a wider note. Try that shit on the streets of Berlin and you'll cop a face full of pepper spray and an emergency dental bill.

The German police can often be heavy-handed and not given to avoiding escalation, but we also have a functioning democracy.

I get the feeling you would be unwise to mess with Lammy.

Actually, as you were.

I remind myself of the two, AfD-aided attacks on the Reichstag in the last year or so, and the cops did absolutely fuck all.

‘All’ is doing a lot of mealy mouthed work. Here’s the plan; Johnson condemns all sides and bangs on about Piers Corbyn and his lefty agitators being just as responsible as the far right. For good measure he’ll ask the former opposition leader to join him in condemning his brother. Jez of course won’t play ball and gives Bozo a free ticket to make it all about Labour extremists.

The thing that has gone more or less unnoticed is the response of the Cult. Nobody said anything when St Jeremy was being attacked so tough - as though being called a fucking idiot is ona par with being accused accused of paedo protection by the prime Minister, in the Commons. But it gives them an excuse to have a go at hur hur I said Keef, so that's alright.

All a bit “good people on both sides”

Plus it’s not even being reporting on the front page of some newspapers

Hoyle’s not afraid to do his no-nonsense hardman act on Dawn Butler. Its hard to conclude there isn’t a Lynsey Hoyle sex tape with some dirty shit on it.

The Tories and Momentum are both claiming that the thugs who attacked Starmer are left-wing including the former Tory councillor who was filmed screaming "Savile" at Starmer.

To be fair, that’s quite the feat - the right are claiming that what Johnson said about Jimmy Savile and what the mob said about Jimmy Savile are somehow not connected. The left are claiming the mob didn’t even mention Jimmy Savile and it’s all a protest against Starmer not being Jez/not giving Assange a free pass/not saying antisemitism is made up etc. (delete as applicable). Two ends of a shitty rainbow united in spreading disinformation.

Yeah, Sian, but what about the real issues, like Jeremy Corbyn.
