Nobody celebrates failure quite like...
Reminded of a Spitting Image sketch with Hatton, Heffer, Livingstone and Scargill telling Tony Benn to pull his finger out; ‘You can’t be a guru of the left without leading a glorious defeat.’

His lot are tweeting a list of 13 MPs who did not oppose the flight to Rwanda, problem is there hasn’t been a vote so it’s a straight up lie.
You can guess the names on it and those not.

Even though there wasn't a vote they didn't oppose it in the proper way, They've got blood on their centrist hands.

Well I just reported as fake news, sorry if that’s an issue.

It's not an issue, it just shows how sad that lot are - even if it is a lie it MIGHT be true.

They're off again, and the usual suspects are leading the charge:

Keir said that of all the disparaging things that Tory backbenchers had been saying about Johnson, his personal favourite was “the Tory Corbyn”. He added that he didn’t think that Johnson should think it was a positive compliment.
Damned good joke, but as he was saying it I knew instantly that it would have the Trots frothing at the gash, and so it, predictably, has.

It's their perennial refusal to accept that Magic Grandad was a populist who wasn't very popular.

I'm still waiting for them to start up this new party of theirs.

I'm so worthy
Jeremy Corbyn, the former Labour leader, has teamed up with direct action campaigners to form a new “red/green” climate and social justice movement which aims to stage a “major wave of popular mass action” later this year.
Corbyn’s Peace and Justice Project, which he set up in 2021, is joining forces with Just Stop Oil campaigners who have staged a series of disruptive climate actions over the past six months.
The new movement – which also includes trade unionists, civil society organisations and leftwing activists – argues that the current “destructive economic model” is the root cause of the cost of living crisis as well as the climate crisis...

A date for your diary
The new campaign, called We All Want to Just Stop Oil, says it will stage its first major action – a march in central London – on Saturday 23 July.

Marches, and protests at Premier League football are all right. It's stopping people getting the petrol they need to get to work that's more of a problem for me. But you can't expect Jez, as the world's oldest teenager, to show discretion.

You know Corbyn has probably told them not to target Arsenal.

Speaking of football, Jezza reminds me of David Sullivan in that he will attempt a completely ineffective course of action in response to a blindingly obvious problem (in Sullivan's case, laughably lowballing transfer targets) all so he can say that "he tried" as anything that might actually change anything is too much work.

As I said about the government, the way these people demand a medal for doing the bare minimum is really annoying.

Best of luck to Columbia’s new government. Let’s hope it doesn’t result in an economic skip fire within 18 months. A message of solidarity from Jezza is a good indication it will.

Low hanging fruit...
Still don’t really get this at all. Assange isn’t a “journalist”, he’s a cunt, and an unconvicted sex offender.
I’m as much in favour of whistle-blowing as the next comrade, but I can’t quite see why this chancer is accorded sacred hero status by the crank left.
