If only Starmer had ranted and raved and demanded Johnson resign every single time he did anything so that there was no weight behind it when the time was right and the public were jaded to it, just like the Corbyn fan club demanded, then there'd easily be a 20-point gap by now.

Admittedly it'd probably be a gap the wrong way, but 20 points nonetheless.
And how can Starmer claim to be representing the people when not once has he brought up Eileen in Norwich's bus pass plight eh? Eh?!

Like turncoat Paul Mason, you seek to mock those who bring you the real news stories.

Disaster in this poll as loser Starmer only leads by 10.

You might notice a reference to Jez era Labour, who also had a 10 point lead. About that...

Westminster Voting Intention: LAB 33%; CON 23%; BRX 14%; CHUK 9%; LD 7%; UKIP 5%; SNP 3%; Green 3%; Other 2%

Nah, it'd be "We'd be 100 points clear under Jeremy."
They'll probably join The Mail in calling Starmer a hypocrite (on top of all the other Red Tory and Tory-lite bollocks Corbynistas trot out) after the piss-weak attempt at a false equivalency because he was pictured having a beer with his staff last April.

Let's not remember Magic Grandad's dinner parties in Islington when indoor mixing wasn't allowed, his perennial inability to wear a mask properly or just repeated failure to indict any of Uncle Piers' mad ramblings that have harmed public discourse eh?

Just looking at Bury South it’s a marginal when Labour are on the down and Tories are fighting back so it makes sense.

It’s a risk for him to cross the floor but it makes sense, he also has to conclude that what follows is no more beneficial to him than what is current and I’m still wondering about the Johnson pull and what happens when he goes.

Everyone keeps going what if they get something better in, but in terms of political appeal I’m not sure they have that.

Bit of a typical Tory history, did Chemistry at the open University mind, also Ivan Lewis ran as an independent in this seat so that’s something else to consider

Some are still more interested in ideological purity than gaining seats...

The left-wing Momentum campaign group said Mr Wakeford "should be nowhere near the Labour Party".

"Wakeford should be booted out of Labour and a by-election called immediately," a spokesman added. "Labour must back a candidate that will stand up for the people of Bury South and against this Tory government."

So they have their by-election, the seat goes Tory again*, but at least that's got rid of the heretic. Then it's off to deal with Starmer, Raynor, Phillips, and all of the other fascists who have usurped the Party.

*It won't go Tory again. That was a "Get Brexit Done" blip.

Voters don’t like turning out unnecessarily especially for a turncoat. Its shabby to carpetbag seats in this manner but this is politics and defections are worth their weight to improve your standing as a party.

A member of Parliament is a representative, not a delegate, and does not represent only those who voted for them. This needs to be re-stated at intervals.

The usual dickheads on Twitter have already christened this chap as Christian Wokeford.............oh, my aching sides.

He does seem a bit of a prat, though. What's the betting he'll soon jump back to the dark side once Sunak is crowned the new Tory King?

Yeah he seems your typical Tory but he did call Owen Paterson a “cunt”.

It’s politics and if it had been some crossing the other way Starmer would be failing.

Momentum and Laura Pidock especially can fuck off, Her expertise is turning Labour seats Tory.
