Every gang has to have a leader. Robinson does have the ability to get the hard of thinking onside while Farage attracts the subtler fascist. It's a clever double act and I wonder how much co-operation they've had.

I'm pretty sure this is exactly the same charge that those brown people are facing for the Manchester airport incident, which Farage and Tice are horrified by?

How can they be this stupid and why the fucking hell are they not being called out on it? They have been furious, ranting and raving, about the brown man assaulting the police at Manchester airport, and now they're advertising a star guest that has a conviction and literal prison time for assaulting police officers. I mean, come the fuck on. Why aren't the big hitters in the mainstream media pointing this out straight away? This is not that difficult.

Do you have to pay to attend their conference? I can only speak for Plaid, but all members are free to attend both our annual and spring conferences.

Jackboots de rigeur.

I thought Reform UK PLC didn't have party members anyway? They have two shareholders - Farage and Tice.

I'd love to know which charities will be rocking up at the conference? Presumably the Countryside Alliance might attend under it's charity wing the Countryside Alliance Foundation. But beyond that I can't think of many others, the RNLI will certainly not be attending.

A few private schools? Also wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Christian Voice/Concern rocking up.

Another one for "jumped or pushed?"

I wonder if he and Goodwin have both had offers from Paul Marshall or some American equivalent.
A prominent barrister who came under criticism for social media posts about the Southport knife attack has retired from his chambers.

Commercial chancery barrister Steven Barrett, who writes for The Spectator, stepped down from Radcliffe Chambers with immediate effect last week.

A joint statement from Radcliffe Chambers and Barrett said: ‘We can confirm that on Friday [9] August Steven Barrett voluntarily gave notice of his retirement from Radcliffe Chambers with immediate effect. Steven is a high-profile legal commentator who is focusing on the new opportunities that has provided. Chambers respects his decision.

‘Steven will remain an active practitioner in the areas of commercial litigation and arbitration,’ the statement said.

Steven Barrett is the go to lawyer when GB News wants a right winger to go along with their particular narrative. He often gets called out for commenting on areas of law where he has got zero expertise. He gets very shirty when people point out that he is actually a junior barrister.

He is also a Tory councillor so when GBNews try and portray him as impartial legal expert they are being economical with the truth.
