This is an incredibly affluent area (not the town so much as the countryside).

Can’t see a major bun fight breaking out as Johnson has no wind in his sails. Tories are bonkers so what do I know? Bring it on.

The town itself has always been an LD stronghold, but the surroundings are blue through and through. Crikey.

This is good, but I seem to be in the only place in the country where non-Tory pincers keep falling over each other...

Yeah, Ben because it's not like Lib Dems and Greens do much better in local elections than general elections or anything, is it?

Plus of course London and Wales (i.e. two of the strongest Labour areas) aren't even voting today.

In fairness, he may be referring to projected national vote share, but I don't know.

Fuck, Wokingham's gone to NOC. That's Redwood territory. Incredibly affluent.

Nor Scotland, Birmingham and Bristol.

Seems like lot of terrible Tory votes coming through now. Hammered in Dacorum (Herts) and Milton Keynes. Let's watch those seat losses pile up.

Did Greg walk around waving Liam Byrne's letter?

Doubtless this is better than other places, but the Lib Dems still went up 4 and the Tories down 1. That's not great for the Tories, when they had a local trump card issue.

Disaster for Labour in Slough. Council effectively bankrupt, so probably not unexpected.

I see Reform have finally picked up a few councillors, six so far, but a piss in the sea compared to the Greens.
