Putin tells us all that, anyone who comes to Ukraine's aid will, and I paraphrase, suffer in ways they have never before experienced.
They've taken Chernobyl.
I'm no mathematician but 2+2 looks uncannily like an absolute shitshow.
How does Putin control the wind direction?

The whole "NATO/Ukraine provoked this..." argument is pretty shit on its face, but the wider implication, that a nation is justified in unilaterally declaring war on its neighbor because they don't like their foreign policy is fucking terrifying.

Slightly amusing thing this evening Betis were 3-2 up against Zenit P who is Putin’s team and. Who had earlier dropped a player who spoke out against Putin’s invasion (if I was him I’d stay in Spain).
Anyhow 90th minute still 0-0 when Zenit P score, VAR intervenes it’s ruled a hand ball (bit harsh) and Betis go through.
Probably solves UEFA’s immediate problems but it was lovely to see.

Isn't one of the Moscow teams still in the Europa League?

These things have a way of spilling over.

Using a warship to bomb 13 border guards on a remote outpost is apparently part of Russia's defense initiative.
Putin seems to have forgotten we can record his war crimes in real time now, and hopefully more stringent sanctions can be immediately applied.

Seems to be going down badly back home. I genuinely think Putin has overdone it this time - unless the real endgame is to justify a massive crackdown domestically and stop any pretence that he’s not an emperor.

But three older people - two middle aged men and an elderly woman - are much more supportive of the invasion.
A man in a baseball cap talks about "protecting Russians" in Ukraine. He blames Ukrainians themselves and says that it's "their own fault that they ended up in this situation".
"They have always been problematic, throughout history," he says.

A woman in a pink coat and hat also refers to Russians in Ukraine. "There are Russian people living there," she says.
But what about the Ukrainians living there, we ask?
"Ukrainians are mostly terrorists," she snaps, adding that she gets this information from state TV and YouTube.

I've yet to see any of the familiar right wing gobshites unequivocally condemn Putin. Absolutely scum, the lot of them.

Have any of the familiar left wing gobshites unequivocally condemned Putin yet? The two ends of the spectrum seem to be remarkably similar in outlook.

The take-away is fabulous;
...their response was "Russian warship, go fuck yourself" (Russian: 'Русский военный корабль, иди на хуй', romanized: Russkiy voyennyy korabl', idi na khuy).
