Liz is in a government that is part of a global network of liberty. Being generous and assuming all that Truss means by liberty is unfettered free trade, the government can’t even deliver that with its closest neighbours.
A "Summit for Democracy", how very interesting. Presumably she'll be giving her Republican friends across the pond a roasting for not standing up to Trump's attempts to overturn the last presidential election, or indeed effectively sabotage the next.
All of these fuckers were crestfallen when it became clear Biden had won the presidency last year.

This "Summit for Democracy" branding is clearly aimed at Putin and, by association, at Lukashithead. Liz, depressingly, hasn't the capacity to understand the wider implications of simple language.

Liz Truss is the epitome of not knowing whether you want Johnson to stay on or risk another one of the clownshow taking over.

Anyone else hear her on Radio 4 yesterday evening coming across, and I'm being a bit charitable here, as a bit thick?

Truss will do a better job as FS than Raab or Bozo. A bar so low snakes are concussed.

As the proverbial whale sandwich. For me, her overt and unmissable dimwittedness is a defining feature of Madame Truss.
Yet she regularly tops the poll on the
Conservative Home website as the most popular cabinet minister among the swivel-eyed, blue-rinsed Tory membership out in the country. Haven't they noticed her lack of iintellect ?
It's almost as if being as thick as fuck is a required attribute for Tory leaders (Johnson gets a by here because he isn't thick, exactly, but is a "ledge" who wins elections.(

Given that being as thick as fuck is a pre-requisite for membership of a conservative local association, how would they notice?

William Hague has emerged as the most thoughtful and cerebral senior Tory but he had to stop being a Conservative MP before we noticed.

If it was the price for Assange’s extradition its the first decent trade deal Truss has clinched.

Anne Sacoolas is now saying that she hasn't agreed to facing a British court. So does this suggest that the government has just made up the claim in the hope of getting a bit of good publicity?

I remember reading she was going to appear virtually from the US anyway so what would have happened if she had been found guilty? Ordered her to board the next flight to the UK? Fat chance of her following through on that.

It's pretty unlikely to entail a custodial sentence.

Have a very happy prime ministerial Christmas. A lot of non Tories warming to the idea of hapless Liz leading her party into a GE.
