In case the young ladies who frequent these precincts missed it, Mr Sunak has just said that the lefty-woke want to cancel “our women”

From the Guardian rolling coverage;
Sunak says he will end the “devolve and forget” mentality, saying he will call out the SNP on their record on issues such as drug and alcohol abuse.
He swiftly moves on to say – very loudly – that he will take on the “lefty-woke culture that wants to cancel our history, our values and our women”. That receives a rapturous applause from the members in Perth.

Am I correct in presuming that he is alluding to the trans-rights debate?

Trans is this year's BLM in the culture wars.

The Drugs are a Westminster reserved issue.
Several British PMs have blocked Scottish initiatives because (flips through excuse book) ... Nixon.

Quite a few Scottish Tories seemed to be rather surprised at how many protesters there were outside tonight's hustings in Perth. They were particularly offended by the large banner with the words 'Tory Scum'. They clearly don't appreciate how much graft goes into producing large banners like that.

I see both eejits were in Belfast today trying to canvas party supporters.
I'm pretty sure given that the Tory party membership in NI could fit on to two coaches at the most, why make a song & dance about it?

It's yet another topic they don't give a shiny one about but they have to pretend they do because it's part of the core Tory philosophy. Same as bunging a few pennies at poor people.

I looks like Gove has just stuck the knife into Truss by claiming that she 'has taken a holiday from reality.'
He has also said that he is quitting frontline politics so presumably he wants to try and grab a decent job in journalism before Johnson gets a look in.

Actually he also made comments about “obliterating the Middle East”.
Probably one Sunak would be wise to distance himself from.

That’s like a trailer for a film in which 3 Essex “geezers” end up getting shot in the back of a Range Rover

Britain loves an underdog.
We love to see the little guy win.
We love a rags to riches story.
We love to see the corporate giants get a bloody nose from a bunch of journeymen.
I guess we prefer our underdogs to be a little less billionairey.

Pitching yourself as the loser in a leadership contest is a brave strategy.
