Johnson said that higher levels of obesity among children was the result of people being told that there were “paedophiles everywhere”.
And who was it who told them that? Murdoch media, that's who. That Rebecca Whatsherface of the News of the World was obsessed with them. So much that it led to the Brass Eye "Paedogeddon" spoof.
Murdochism needs a boogeyman. Dangerous dogs, hippies, trade unions etc all served in the role, but none were completely beyond the pale. They were either too obvious, or had a good support base despite the Sun's best efforts. Paedophilia though, that was a masterstroke. Nobody could seriously try to defend it*, and it appealed as much to those wanting to protect children as it did to those looking for a weirdo to pulverise.

Now, were I sour-faced twat of a Trot, at this point I’d fatuously say that there still isn’t one. And I’d be a tedious cunt.

Even funnier he cancelled his Australia tour as negligible tickets were sold and didn't want to be pictured in empty rooms.
The only question Oz or any country is interested in is how the fuck did this twat ever make PM?

Have read rumours he's plotting his comeback to save his party from oblivion. Dear Lord.

What if I suggested that Harper Collins aren't in it for profits.
Maybe some of their book deals are simply methods for the owner to channel large suns of cash money to his favoured people.

I recall Gove getting a massive advance on some obscure book that never appeared.
Johnson has penned a series, but "Disgraced PM explains how it wasn't his fault" hardly seems lie a massive money spinner.

This, in one way of inserting dark money into politics.
It's how isolated mid-sized nations fall.

This Murdoch owned publishing house's 'advance' to Gove is clearly whiffy but give them the benefit of the doubt on Johnson's ramblings. There's millions of mugs out there who made him PM. Perhaps Harper Collins overestimated how many had the reading age above a six year old.

Don't forget the ego. He just wants a handsome fee for existing, but also wants to pretend he earned it - whether imagining people actually like him, or that they think he's so smart and witty. He wants to believe all the "he's a ledge" bollocks. Whereas in actual fact he's a wedge - something that keeps doors open for others.
