Speaking of which he is on the Channel 4 election coverage of the US elections which I see as a bit pointless.
A) he has no expertise
B) No one is getting a result for 2-3 days

There's no shortage of right leaning talking heads and politicians with US connections that have credibility. Even Stanley Johnson would be a reasonable choice.

I think you need to remember that C4's original founding mission statement was that it should strive to be different.
I sometimes think that, as with this, it self-consciously goes a little bit too far in trying to meet that mission.

He hasn’t even read it - the giveaway is he swaps from ‘settling down with it’ to the sort of language you’d use once finished.
Though to be fair, I suspect Johnson hasn’t read it either.
