He seems to have been issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice by the Lancashire Bulery.

Inevitable.
And thick as mince.

Yet again a Prime Minister breaks the law. Yet again his MPs want the messenger shot. These people do think they're untouchable.

The Met got a fair bit of stick for not prosecuting after rather incriminating looking lockdown photos. But it would be quite hard to prove that eg Shaun Bailey's people weren't at a work meeting at Christmas and pausing for a photo briefly, which they immediately regretted. That's the thing with criminal justice, people get off with cock and bull stories sometimes.
But hard to see what sort of a defence there would be here. Sunak's been well advised to cough very fast.
Of course Scott Benton was pushing beers keir story quite a bit.

No frontline resources needed for idiots who break the law on camera. Its in the bag.

I haven't digested this yet. Does it stand up? If so it sounds, er, sub optimal for Rishi.

That makes sense.
Sunak got the "new manager bounce".
Plenty of folks, like my mum thought "He seems a lot more sensible than the previous few".
They genuinely hoped he would turn the government around and start ... y'know .. governing.
Imagine if the Tories managed to find a new PM who was honest, competent and well intentioned.
He/she would still be beholden to the horde of crooks, liars, mutants, traitors, arseholes, perverts, junkies and gangsters who've worked their way into parliamentary seats.
Not so much deplorables as irredeemables.

No Tory would become PM now without having to do deals with corrupt liars. If they're not in the majority, there's enough of them to make governing impossible without being beholden to them.

They adopted Kipper policies, which the Kip had nicked off the BNP. They expelled anyone with a conscience. They made it clear that it was all about robbing the country blind while acting like a bunch of spoiled teenagers with their hands on daddy's credit card.
Watching the chickens come home to roost really ought to be fun, but I'm just exhausted and heartbroken.

I wonder how Volodymyr Zelenskyy would feel about Johnson and Sunak if he knew this?

Edit, this story has now been on BBC news and in the Guardian, what's the penalty for breaking UK sanctions to aid a Russian war criminal? Have Sunak and Johnson been arrested yet, or is it all fine?

Oh FFS.
Ricky Sunshine eclipsed at PMQs so he pulls out the Corbyn card - whereas he, a man of principle, resigned over Johnson. After how many years?
